**Update - I just got the new & improved Knot Kneedle! It's Absolutely Awesome!! It's even easier to use than the previous one I have. The spring is a lot easier to compress with one hand so it's easier to thread the eye with line and the small form factor is no problem now since the spring is a lot less tight. LOVE THIS KNEEDLE!! I really like how small the tool is, it’s easy to manipulate and fun to use the only thing is that by the time it takes to take the tool off my zinger and thread my tippet through the hole, if I was to do it without the tool I would have the knot half way done already. It’s not going to save me any time at all. I think there are certain knots that it might make it a bit easier with the tag end for sure. I think it’s a great tool for learning and learning new knots. As I get older I’m sure I will get more familiar with it as my hands deteriorate. Unfortunately I do not get around to easily so I don’t get to fish that much so this tool is fun to learn different knots with and challenge myself. It’s worth the money.

Fast easy to use. Just dont drop it, or ploop its gone. Supplied storage clip is too easy to get snaged, holds the knot need too loosely. And ploop its gone. I had purchased two. The second one. I ran a zinger to it, pass a snap swivel through the knot needle, where it holds the fish line, snapped it shut. At least this way I wont loose it hanging from my vest. Maybe walk to shore next time you use it. At least have a chance of finding it when you drop it again. Because you will drop it. You know you will.

So I got this because I have severe nerve damage to both hands and all fingers. Zero feeling in them.App doesn’t work on my iPhone 7+.Only real problem is no good way to store it, and if it falls into the water it’ll sink and bye bye $20.Needs a better attachment design so it can be put on a retractable tether.

Saw this product a few time and ads elsewhere and couldn't figure out if it was a gimmick or a useful tool. As a new fly fisherman I'm still a little bit frustrated by trying to tie knots, due to the fact that I'm getting older and have to use reading glasses and whenever I need to tie a knot. Plus I'm usually waist deep in a river somewhere with other things on my mind, like fish, cold or watching the hatch. This thing is not a gimmick it makes putting on the flies so much easier. I absolutely love it. It's come in handy and made me faster more confident fly fisherman.
