Juliette and Warner’s story continues in the thrilling fifth installment of Tahereh Mafi’s New York Times bestselling Shatter Me series. Juliette Ferrars isn’t who she thinks she is. Nothing in her world is what it seemed. She thought she’d finally defeated The Reestablishment. She thought she’d finally taken control of her life, her power, and her pain. But Juliette has only just begun to unravel a lifetime of lies, and she finds herself faced with a familiar choice: Be a weapon. Or be a warrior. This time, she’s not alone. Stronger, braver, and more resilient than ever, Juliette will fight for life and love with her friends by her side—but first, she has to survive the war being waged against her mind: She has to remember who she was. Narrated by Juliette, Warner, and Kenji Kishimoto, this gripping novel will leave readers hungry for Imagine Me , the sixth novel in the series. And don't miss Watch Me , the first book in a new series in the Shatter Me universe set ten years after the fall of The Reestablishment, on sale in April 2025! Review: Could be a great Netflix series - I love this series so much!!! Each book just gets better! Review: One of the best series that I have ever read - I do not even know where to start! Reading this series was definitely a delight! I thought since it was YA that it was going to be cheesy and not very well written. I have to say that I am blown away! Tahereh Mafi definitely sucked me in with this series! I read all the books as well as the novellas in under 2 weeks! I couldn’t put them down! I loved the twist of the unexpected love story forming in the earlier books! I love how she was so intuned and on the nose with the emotions and feelings of all the characters and not just Juliette (Ella). She had every character and their different lives and she captured them beautifully. I felt what they felt! at times i got aggravated, excited, sad and you could feel that the love and all the emotions were captured! I loved that she was able to make the “love scenes” appropriate and tasteful.. leaving room for your imagination take hold without giving you all the details. This story line was amazing! The twist of the apocalyptic feeling and the impending doom of the reestablishment! Then throw in the aspect of super powers! Well done! I am utterly blown away by her writing skills! I often find it hard to get into most books from outside my normal authors, but this is one I definitely recommend all the time i was reading to everyone! Very well edited! Only a few mistakes i saw with that! But it was very well put together and written very well! Definitely glad that i found it at goodwill! I would definitely read this! Old or young it is just a well written series and it will stay with me.

I love kenji: super funny and sarcastic, he is always there for me (and julliete, warner , adam , james etc) when I need him!! .love #warnette #teamwarnerforever .warner: just amaizing,he is in my "top ten literary boyfriends" he loves julliete<spolier>/ ella so much he <spoiler>asked her to marry him<spoiler>and she said "yes"#love .Tahareh Mafi writing is amaizing, I repeat amaizing !!! .<spoiler>i loved that Tahareh incororated kenji's perspective in this one (without counting warnette's perspective) .the flasbacks I just loved them!!! .juliette's chapters where so emotionaly written I felt they where so beautiful. . <spoiler>Nazeera and kenji; jajajajaja kenji was so cute and funny !!! .<spoiler>anderson is't dead!!! .<spoiler> getting to know Emmaline is amizing, but heartfull knowing how evie treated her and that she wants to julliette/ella to kill her,is so sad!! .<spoiler> how julliette killed evie; ja !! .I think that's all i'm going to say!! now what are the reasons it has 4 stars?? if you wanna find out keep reading!! .first of all ; yeah it cleared the mistery of "fracture me", but there was never a climax !! .there was something missing that " ignite me" had. .the end i'd hoped it was misterious like " fracture me " "ingite me " "shatter me" or even "unvreal me" .I think that's all hope you like it xoxo "beyond life beyond dead my love for thee is eternal" By: Gace Anathomy

LOVE. THIS. SERIES! Team Warner FOREVAAAAA!
Oh. my. word!!!!! I forgot how crazy obsessed I am with this series until I dived back in. I've missed Juliette, Warner and Kenji SO much. This was one of my most anticipated reads of the year and it DIDN'T DISAPPOINT! This series without fail always captures my heart and has me on the edge of my seat. I know it's not for everyone but I find the writing style so exhilarating!!!! The short chapters and dramatic writing plus I love the 3 different POVs. I will say at the beginning I was kind of bummed we were getting so much Kenji. Don't get me wrong, I love him but Warner and Juliette are my HEART. However, it definitely kept it extra suspenseful. Don't fear though, we definitely get way more amazing moments from my favorite 2 the second half. I was internally freaking out at several parts. Which sounded a little like..."I LOVE YOU, WARNER! You're my girl Juliette." To be honest, there really isn't a lot going on in this book besides recovering from the aftermath of how Restore me ended with was INSANE. But hot dang are things moving along and it's never slow. I was glued to the pages. I swear these 350 pages are the quickest ever. It was like that with Restore me. I try to go slow and savor it but it's impossible. The end though. I FREAKING LOVED IT!!!! like oh man my heart was bursting out of my chest. I'm so glad the ending wasn't as insane of a cliffhanger as Restore Me. I can't wait for the last but I'm not ready for this series to be over. I can't get enough of Juliette & Warner!!!!! They're literally one of my all time favorite couples. I LOVE that we get to see such a different side to Warner. And this one set up their love story even more to being full blown epically romantic. Now I wanna go reread all the books. This was perfection.

So much love
I absolutely love how this book ended on a happy note. I know there's more and there's a whole rebellion to squash, but most books end on cliffhanger after cliffhanger and this just seems like such a beautiful, defining moment.

Defy me it did.
I really really wanted a five star rating. It pains me not to give it. But there are reasons I feel I cant ignore. I LOVE this series. I love this series so much that even if it was less than a five star review I would re read this book. I just wish it was less muddled. Things I loved: -The multiple points of view. Mostly because I didnt have anxiety wondering what was happening to my favorite peeps. Well most anyway. -The characters I've loved this the begining were true to themselves and even after a year they slipped into old roles. -Aaron, still love him and will always be one of my favorite things. -That we finally get some answers! It feels like forever since we really got new information, except for the last bit in book #4 -Kenji, he doesnt disappoint. I just love him so he can like be in the corner stacking cans and talk about it the entire book and I'd be ok with him. Things I dont exactly like but didnt hate. -The multiple points of view- yes it was great but the story progressed so slowly because of it. It was informative but dragged. -I wanted more of the sister, no spoilers no worries. I just wish we had more of her than we got seeing as she was mentioned so so much in the last. -I'm still confused about the ending of last book, who did the illusion? Was there an illusion or did everyone just get drugged? Maybe I read the book so fast I missed it. -I feel detached from Juliette in this one and it's weird. Everyone is referring to her as Ella, even Juliette herself and after four books as Juliette, it's not something I can get used to. Which sucks because she's badass and now I feel like we're no longer friends. Like why you gotta do me like that. I thought we had something special. So yeah, really conflicted but still love this series and will reread this one as soon as I can get some sleep.

A big fan feeling a little disappointed
I love the Shatter Me series. I remember reading the first book not long after it came out years ago. I suffered through the waiting period for books 2 & 3. I feel books 1 - 3 are worthy of 5/5 stars. I love them! However, with this being the 5th book I feel really disappointed. This book is told from three points of view - Kenji, Warner (Aaron), and Juliette (Ella). I know lots of people who are a fan of the books love Kenji and I do too. I remember the 'we want more Kenji' fan service days. I think he has some of the best lines in the book. However, with this book I miss having only Juliettes point of view. When you strip back this book and look at the whole plot there isn't much substance to it. This is because the book is spread out over three points of view. Personally, and I feel the need to add that because you may disagree, that this story would have had more justice with one point of view. Kenji is great and all, but he would have been better as a spin-off book or a book that is set as Kenji's POV to the events that happen in the story. In the fourth book I quite enjoyed seeing Warners point of view, however, I don't think it was necessary. The success of books 1 - 3 proved that having only Juliettes POV did well to tell a story. Don't get me wrong I love seeing inside Warners mind. I just feel it would've been a similar case to Kenji - his own POV of the events in his own book or even a chapter at the end of the book that allows us to peer inside his mind. ~ SPOILERS BELOW ~ So the book begins with Juliette and Warner missing. We kick off with a lot of Kenji and Warner POV's I was beginning to think that Juliette wasn't going to have a POV. I understand the importance of Kenji's POV being to fill us in on everything that happens at sector 45 since Juliette is gone, however, I feel that could have been a whole chapter conversation later in the book between Kenji and Juliette, rendering his POV's kind of pointless. With Juliette I feel the big build up, to put it in the simplest of terms, from book one was about who is she and where did she come from. Better yet, who are her parents? In this book I was hoping lots of answers would be given. Nope. Not really. Really quick and brief about who they are and what they do. Most of the time in Juliette's POV she was drugged up and barely awake. It just involved a lot of her past memories coming back for most of the book. I was hoping for more information about her parents. I just feel the 'family storyline' needed more substance and this would have come from more Juliette POV's in the beginning, before her past memories started coming to her. In terms of her and Warner's rescue I would've thought a more in-depth POV from Kenji would've happened, especially since Kenji seems to be in this book a lot. That was not the case. He just kind of turns up with Nazeera. I knew they were going to rescue her after he got tricked into thinking Nazeera was batting for the other team. However, there was no plan or full length conversation. He just turns up in one of Juliettes POV's... That's just me nit-picking though. So far I don't seem to feel Kenji's POV is nothing but a fan service and completely taking up potential plot substance from what could have been more Juliette POV's. I'm going to stop complaining and give my vision for what this story could have been. I'll keep it brief and to the point. >> HERE IS HOW I WISH THE STORY WENT... all from Juliettes POV! If you haven't read the book this might not make sense. Beginning - Wakes up in an unfamiliar place. Attempts to find out where she is. Parents show up and over the course of a few chapters they get her into a false sense of security. She believes they are good. She learns a bit about her past and the Reestablishment from them. Happy family right? I understand she will be concerned about Warner and her friends, however, I'm sure that some kind of illusion (like at the end of book 4) could be done to make her think they are safe (fooling even us readers into thinking they are okay). As we near the middle of the book Juliette stumbles upon photos of her and Warner at different age levels, sparking the memories of them coming back to her. She starts to suspect something isn't quite right and this sparks her need to find out. Middle - As she starts to dig for information her parents start to show their true colours. This is when all the horrible things that actually were written in book 5 actually happen to Juliette. Kenji and Warner rescue Juliette (yes Warner is never at the same place as Juliette like its told in the book). During the rescue this is when Anderson is found to be alive! They bump into him during their escape. Warner attempts to kill him and that is when they see him heal right before their eyes, realising that he has the power to 'sort-of' heal. On the plane a conversation about what actually happened at sector 45 when she went missing - this is where we find out what happened to her friends and the sector. End - The same ending that happened in the book.

Loved this one!
5/5⭐️ I was so scared not to like the next “trilogy” in this series but oh my god. I absolutely LOVED THIS BOOK. It was absolutely amazing!! After the ending of Restore Me I had no idea what to expect. I felt betrayed by some characters and thought everything went wrong. I had no idea how this book would go but it was incredible. Lot’s of new characters in this book that we got to know more about. So many secrets were revealed, so much action and WOOOOOW. I truly loved it. I love all the action and all the hardships the characters went through. So many times I found myself being completely thrown of and confused only to have another bomb dropped. I was constantly in surprise and couldn’t put this book down. It hooked me the whole way through. Lots of emotional moments between Juliette and Warner and it was soooo cute and heartfelt. I was so involved and just couldn’t wait to see what happened with them. They really are cute and one of my favourite couples now. There was a lot more Kenji POV and I’m not mad about it all. I love knowing his thoughts and seeing how emotional he is. He cares for people so much and really feels emotions intensely and I enjoyed seeing him go through different struggles. Im so glad I enjoyed this book and I don’t understand how people didn’t like it!! Honestly my favourite book is Ignite Me but this one is very close. I just like seeing the characters really go through something and this was so intense and I can’t even explain my feelings other than I loved it!
