These are a great, medium-quality trash bag at a reasonable price. I had been looking for a trash bag to use in my Litter Robot since their branded bags are so expensive. It is perfect. I've also found other uses for them, when a relatively durable trash bag is needed.

Everytime I'd read about what a huge problem our plastic waste is causing for the planet, I'd feel guilty. Pictures of the giant plastic island humans have created in the Pacific Ocean are so disturbing! I finally decided to switch all plastic waste bags, of which I use many every day, to compostable/biodegradable versions even if they're headed to the landfill. I already knew true compostable bags wouldn't be strong enough for the weekly pickup can, so I took a chance and bought these. They're fantastic! Most of the trash we have is cat litter waste, which is heavy. These bags are strong and don't break down. I have not seen any accidents happen on trash pickup day. The only thing I wish is that they were slightly bigger so I wouldn't have to tape them to our can otherwise they'd fall in, but that's it.

I can't testify as to how these will break down over time but I am happy that this 1.1mil thickness will provide a decent weight as a trash/garbage bag. I'm on my second package and will continue to use them.I live in a community where one cannot put trash containers at the curb to be emptied. Trash must be in bags for collection. I still have wheeled trash containers but I don't seem to need them with these bags although I thought I might. So far no rips or tears when I carry or drag them to the curb.

I buy these bags to be eco friendly. Over the winter months I stored leaves for my composter in these bags and by the time I was ready to put the leaves in my composter (mid Spring) the bags were already degrading, so I know they work. They may not be the strongest bags, but they seem to be strong enough. There just are not the right bag for long time storage, at least outdoors.

These bags are supposed to be 39 gallons, but are way too small for my rolling trash can (I guess I read the size wrong, plus the bottom being gathered instead of flat). I tried (in vain) to stretch the bag to fit my trash can and ended up with holes in the bag, surprisingly easy. And they were white instead of brown. I can use them for the little trash can in my bathroom, I guess. I'll be going back to regular trash bags until I can find someone different that makes what I'm looking for.

These EcoDegradable bags are sturdy and hold up to fairly heavy loads. We use them to hold our weekly single-stream recyclables. However, I am unable to verify just how "degradable" they truly are or aren't.

The size was OK but I also bought these because it said extra heavy duty and these bags are very thin and I will have to use two bags each time, one inside the other. This is very disappointing.
