Effective, legal sun shade.
These shades are effective in reducing sun and glare in the side windows of a vehicle. I live in California, and each county has different laws about tinting the windows. I live in San Bernardino county, in the desert, and they do not allow anything other than the factory tint in the front windows. These work better for me than roll-up shades that clip onto the top of the window. These have a flexible wire frame that fits into the top track and bottom rubber inside the widow. The widow can be rolled down about 25% with these installed without blowing out. As I live in the desert, I normally have the windows rolled up anyway. There is a curved cutout in the front so that the side mirror is more visible, and you can roll the widow all the way down to go through drive-thru widows without having to remove the shade. There is also a slight curvature at the back edge that allows you to see oncoming traffic better when you are making a right or left turn. These are easy to install - they come with a plastic credit-card-like gizmo that makes it easy to push the frame into the lower track - and are effective in the amount of light and glare that they reduce. They come in different sizes for different vehicles, so make sure you get the right size.I haven't tried the ones for the rear windows, as my vehicle has a much darker tint in the rear than comes on the front widows, so they aren't necessary.

Won't stay in windows; one already blew out the window and is gone.
It's a great idea, but one shade repeatedly gets blown loose while driving at 30 mph in town so that I have to close the window for fear of the shade blowing away...The pair that was sent to me appeared used, and were quite wrinkled, and the one that never fit snugly was warped when I received it. These shades do not cover enough of the windows, so my left lower arm and hand had hot sun on them during a trip today, and my legs were burning from where the sun shone through the window.Today one shade blew out the window on a highway at only 65 mph, so I only have one shade now which won't stay in when the window is open. The window was only half open. This was a waste of money.

eh
I own a prius c car and thought the windows were pretty normal size. after read some reviews about the sizes aren't right, i ordered the SMALL size. It came on time and when i set it up in my car, i couldn't believe this was a small, it was taller and slightly wide. it took me like 5 minutes to put it up, i put it on the window, lowered my window down and then back up to secure the screen cover and it fit better. who ever in the company came up with these sizes are retards though. I dont beleive that 60% blocking uv rays, when the sun comes through it, i definitely feels it in my skin.I can put the window down with the screen there and it does what its suppose to( when i come home in rush hour, that sunset is the worst when im trying to drive home.

It works, but beware of the specific size needed for car
Well I bought it for my 2012 Hyundai Elantra and didn't realize I bought it too big because here wasn't any information on this from Amazon(see my pic given from package if u need size for your car). You may need to do close up of pic to see words... However I managed to push it into my window, (albeit on the outside) cuz not sure which side...no clear instructions given except picture, and it stayed secure and works, for the most part.

Great for the price -- and otherwise just OK.
This product is great in that it's a cheap and easy (if you follow the video directions you can find on youtube) way to shade front side windows, and it more or less works.I have a small economy car, but the medium size was the best fit. It didn't fit my window perfectly but it does stay in as long as I don't roll the window more than about half-way down on the highway, and I feel noticeably cooler when driving in the sun.The biggest problems with it are the things you would expect: it disturbs the path of the window just as it's rolled all the way up, which weakens the seal of the closed window and may or may not limit the lifespan of the window mechanism. For me the weakened seal lets more noise in, but my car is pretty cheap so that wouldn't likely be a problem for most :)

Fits 2003 Nissan Frontier 2-door
Good quality and easy to install. I don't really like rolling the window all the way down so this is perfect. It's fine mesh so even if the window is rolled only 2-3 inches down, it still lets a lot of air in. Does not obscure blind spots too. I don't know why people complain that it does not completely block out sun. If it's too opaque that you can't see out, then you'll get in trouble with the law!

Great Idea
The idea for this product is great, but the execution is a little lacking. The first day it arrived, I tried to install it in my Mazda RX8. It fit pretty well, but the product is larger than necessary for my RX8's window so each time I rolled the window down, the UpShade got pulled down with it. After struggling with it for a while, I learned to hold the UpShade in place with one hand till the window was down four inches or so then I could let go. Frustrating, but not a deal breaker.Since the product came as a set of two, I tried installing the second UpShade in my wife's Ford Taurus Wagon. This time, the window was as tall as the UpShade which made it impossible to properly tuck the shade into the door. It stayed fairly well for a while, but when you rolled the window down while driving, it would blow back into the car.My other issues were the weakness of the fabric. During installation, the netting that makes up the cover got snagged and pulled out of shape. Then, especially in the Ford, the fabric around the edge of the metal frame wore through and ripped out on the corners. The shade still works, but the holes are bothersome. As I said in the title, it's a great idea. If the manufacturer is listening, I've got two wishes for this product:1) Three sizes. I'd like to see a smaller size, and a larger size than the one offered. Then I could put the smaller ones in the Mazda and the bigger ones in the Ford.2) Stronger material! The material surrounding the frame wore through on day one. That's unacceptable! I don't know if it is because the material is thin or the metal is rough, but it's upsetting either way.Other than that, this is a Great idea and and acceptable but cheap product. I'd love to see a higher quality product of the same design.
