Ambir ImageScan Pro 490ix Duplex Document Scanner

We had another Ambir scanner, and that poor thing was so abused. It however lasted forever. That one finally went out, and we had such good luck with the last one that we went ahead and purchased a new one that was an upgrade. This has been the biggest piece of junk ever! Sometimes when it is on double sided it will scan one side full page, the other side as a half page, half the time it doesn't even work. I have tried talking to Ambir to see about getting a new one, and they replaced a part on it and it seemed to work again. That only lasted about a week. We have had to install, and uninstall this product so many times. Do not waste your money on this version.

We've been using Ambir products for years. When we switched to this scanner it increased productivity by a large margin, plus, the image quality couldn't be better. The only draw that we have is using it with a remote server. Not that perfect pair up but still works for what we need at this time.

Great product! We have been using it for about a month in our clinic. It easily scans ID's, Ins. cards and intake paperwork into our EHR system. Highly recommend.

The Ambir scanner was easy to set up and use! The customer service is very helpful and very easy to communicate with! Always willing to help even if it's just a small quick problem, genuine nice customer service!
