My budgies absolutely love it! They are constantly pecking at it and fightting each over it. I have it in combination with A&E java wood perches adding variety in perch sizes, diameters and textures to keep their little claw muscles healthy and nails naturally trimmed.BTW never ever use sanded perches for your birds hoping to keep nails trimmed. It irritates and actually damages the bottoms of their feet. Use only natural material perches like this perch or A&E java wood branch perches.

Using this to add perching down through the center of the cage for a sun conure. Outer cover is being chewed off by my bird but underneath is holding up fine. Also using as a top of cage perch. June 2020 - my sun conure chewed it in half. Oh well, that’s what birds do. Bought another bran$ that has grit covering. Maybe it will last longer?

I'm giving this three stars since only one of the branches screws into the main branch all the way. All the others have quite a big gap between the perches and the main branch and you can see the screws. Otherwise, it looks very nice.
