Green RiverDRNK 33.8OZ

I had never heard of this soda before, but I saw a cocktail recipe that called for it so I picked some up.It's super tasty, and the lime flavor is showcased well.

Given as a gift. Little flat but it tastes awesome. Mom loved it (I tried for the first time) and we both had a experience together. Pricey.

Expensive, but honestly I was really homesick for Chicago and it's St. Patrick's Day customs and also for its stuffed pizza. But this is way cheaper than getting giordano's delivered halfway across the country, and it did the trick. Not something I'm likely to buy again, but it was fun to share the taste of home with coworkers and friends on St. Patrick's day before everything shut down tight.

two bottles I ordered were flat, no fizz.

I am disappointed with the green river. I was just in Chicago and bought a four pack at Menards and it was delicious and carbonated these two plastic liter bottles that I bought were flat and disgusting. So disappointed.

Been drinking Geen River for years and it's usually excellent, but last batch I purchased was COMPLETELY flat....usually has TONS of fizz...😠

Growing up in the Suburbs of Chicago, this was a favorite of mine as a kid. Fast forward nearly 26 Years, I wanted to try this once again. So tried it straight from the bottle, in a clear plastic cup. I wanted to clearly see that green color. As for flavor, it is VERY Sweet. But hits you in the back end with that lemon/lime tartness. More on the lime really. Kinda reminded me of Mountain Dew a bit. After the fact, I remember this always being served over Ice. So next bottle, i'll try it over Ice. I would imagine that it will cut the sweetness a bit. Regardless, it was a nice nostalgic trip down memory lane. And for the cost, that's what I was paying for.

Had high hopes for this product, unfortunately it did not meet my expectations. Only a hint of lime and tasted flat.
