This solenoid works perfectly on a John Deere 4310. The JD dealer wanted a whopping $194.00 for this part -- save your money and buy this one on Amazon. Great replacement part.

I don't recommend this switch it only worked for a week before oil bypassed into the switch and would not allow magnet to draw the stem in. Tractor would not start until I took it off and pushed it Back by hand allowing the oil to run out.
