This release is hard to describe. I mostly own industrial and if I were a record store owner I would not feel uncomfortable placing this for sale under that moniker. I needed to hear this album a few times just to shake off the expectations of his earlier work in industrial bands Kevorkian Death Cycle and BOL. I was glad that I did.The electronic soundscapes are obviously influenced by elements of industrial, IDM, glitch and insomnia. There is an erratic shift after the first few tracks that is a nice change of pace. Track three is strangely captivating and leaves you breathless over the ledge staring at the breadth of a great alien sea of noise. The lack of vocals on most tracks are compensated by the interesting detailed elements that are subtly layered and a great deal more appealing than just another background-noise electronic record.I would suggest this album before any electronic act in the public eye.
