Hey Seth did you ever notice all your legends are in jail
It's very interesting to read about these clowns, the game has only two exit ramps and neither of them are any good jail in the morgue. If these guys would've stayed small and stayed under the radar they might've lasted a little longer or perhaps got out of the game after they made a little bit of money and went legit will most of them will have a lifetime to think about when they were street legend while they're doing their time respectfully Johnny Irish

AND RICK ROSS GET EXPOSED AS FAKES AND SNITCHES BY THOSE WHO KNOW THE REAL . highly recommended reading for aspiring hustlers, students of the game ,donald goins and iceberg slim fans, or those who just love to read good stories.

Street Legends this books great!
Seth Ferranti is the real deal.his books are serious they tell the side of things you dont see in the movies. The bad side of the gangster life and what it involves as well as the good. Theses are real OG's who haven't snitched, the author himself is a prisoner doing a long time. so as a writer he knows his sh*t.this book is a must read for anyone who likes this genre of books!!!

Original Gangsters
This is the second book in the Street Legends series. It takes a look at six more street legends and crews including the infamous Frank Matthews, who was the first real black godfather, Michael Fray, who was a Washington, DC, gangster of enormous repute, Peanut King, who was Baltimore's premier drug lord in the 1970s and 1980s, the Boobie Boys of Miami and rapper Rick Ross fame, the Short North Posse, who triple Crown founder Vickie Stringer snitched on, and New World, who were radical Islamic bank robbers in New Jersey in the 1970s. All of these men were original gangsters in their own right. I especially liked the variety of era and prison photos of them in their prime in the streets and as they looked while locked up in the belly of the beast. The book shows us how they came to be the men they were and what they are doing now as they all sit behind the wall of penitentiaries looking out at the world as it revolves and moves on without them. It is a fascinating and vivid look into the myths of inner city black gangsters and the hip-hop culture they influenced along the way. Seth has researched their lives thoroughly and gives the reader the "skinny" on their illicit activities in an entertaining and forthright manner.

Narrator has zero inflection. Boring. Terrible reader
It’s too bad. Seth’s work and words are top notch. The interpretation by the guy who read this is boring and awkward . Need to hire someone who can read a story and not just barley read the words. It’s unfortunately disjointed due to the person reading the words. Seth is a great writer, this was disappointing.

Street Legends Vol 2: Original Gangsters
This book, the second in Seth Ferranti's Street Legend's series, gives the biographies of six of our countries most infamous urban gangsters. The men whose stories are profiled in this book- Frank Matthews, Peanut King, Michal Fray, The Boobie Boys, Short North Posse, New World- are modern day outlaw heroes who have become certified street legends from the black underworld. Through rap culture, which has name checked them in verse, they have become mythical icons that form a part of hip-hop's lyrical lore. Rapper Rick Ross has championed the Boobie Boys in his songs and the other street stars have all gained their own infamy through other books, DVDs and magazines like Don Diva, F.E.D.S. and AS IS. This volume is the most concise and detailed profiles of these men and their lives due to the fact that the author Seth Ferranti is in prison with the men he writes about. He carefully crafts the tales giving the real story and not the hyped up mainstream media view which have labeled all the of the above real life Tony Montana's. The fact that these men are criminals cannot be denied but in their own way they all had their own honor and can be viewed as Robin Hood type figures, but they aren't Robin Hood they are from the hood and these stories resonate with everything that Hollywood Blaxploitation and gangsta rap want to be about. Check this book out along with Seth's other gritty and brutal, real life true crime stories from Gorilla Convict Publications.
