Dash Cam Hardwire Kit, for garmin Hard Wire Kit Power Cord,for Garmin Dash Cam 45 55 65W 46 56 66W and Dash Cam Mini Power Cable 010-12530-01,010-12530-03

Took 15 minutes to install from fuse tap in a 2016 Mondeo Mk5 passenger footwell fuse box all the way up the side hidden away all the way to the Garmin 45 dash cam. Works on the ignition perfectly. The only downside I have is it's not a genuine Garmin product.

Works great I have a new gti so hate parking in car parks incase any one bumps it so this allows me to have my dash cam to work on motion detection I have it on front and back

The review questionaire is irelevent in this case. It is a power supply not a dash cam. However there is a problem with it in that role. It seems to have a threshold of 12v below which it automaticly switches off. Presumably this is to protect the car battery if used in parking guard mode but is not mentiond in the web site spec. I just wanted a regular power supply. The trouble is that the dashcam in normal mode does not seem tolerant of this and doesnt switch on again after power is restored. If, during starting, the voltage drops below 12 which is not an unusual situation the cam does not switch back on onc the car has started. This device is not really suitable for used with a Garnim dash cam.

Works perfect with the Garmin mini dash cam.

Slightly too short for Mercedes e class estate. The only switched fuses are in the rear fuse box.

Works straight out the box, no fiddling required!

Once the correct fuse position and size has been determined, the installation was straightforward enough. Length of cable was sufficient to allow tidy, hidden finish.
