Sports Collar Stays

These stick pretty well, though I haven't run them through the wash yet. I used them on a white polo, and you can't see the navy blue collar stay through the fabric. Definitely a plus. On the downside, the outline of the collar stay is visible, I think because the shape of something rigid will naturally show up on a fairly pliable piece of fabric. I could think of an engineering fix, but it would probably drive costs up. That being said, I have a feeling these things are all profit margin as it is.Overall I suppose if you would rather have straight collars with a slightly noticeable outline of the mechanism keeping them straight, these are worth it. I wear these on work shirts and do think it's an incremental benefit to a professional appearance. Just not as good as I had hoped.

I am very happy with this product. It solves an irritating problem easily and unobstrusively. I have not tried other brands for this type of product, but these fit the bill perfectly.Collar curl has irritated me for a long time. For some reason I always felt as if I looked slightly drunk. Call me obssessive compulsive, but there ya' go. The collar stays come in an attractive tin that keep them neat and organized. They are very easy to apply (just peel and stick) and stay in place for as long as you need them.These collar stays cannot be washed. They will come off and stick to another piece of clothing in the most embarraassing place possible. Of course, no one will mention that to you until you see it at the end of the day. The directions indicate that they can be detached for multiple uses, but I have never re-used them.Overall, a good idea and well executed.

The whole idea is that this little dingus sits behind the points of your polo shirt's collar, invisibly holding it straight. You look crisp and no one need be the wiser. And this is delivered, or very nearly.The one oddity is that these little guys are just rigid enough that they cause your collar to float a tad over your collarbones, adding shadow and giving away the game a bit. And they are occasionally visible from the front side, as now there's this unusually flat teardrop-shaped area that can't be waved away.A solution to curling collars? Yes.Totally stealthy? No.Worth a try anyhow? Yes; if you read this far you are in the market.

My wife recently accused me of being "collar obsessed". She's probably right. I absolutely hate the look of a sloppy collar on an otherwise nice shirt.My office has a business casual dress code, which means a nice button up shirt or polo/golf shirt with slacks for me. I use metal collar stays and sometimes magnets on my button up shirts. And now I use Hulas sports collar stays on my polo shirts. They do the job quite nicely; they completely eliminate the dreaded collar roll. I've got three uses out of my first pair and I think there's enough stick left for a fourth use.I'm completely satisfied with my purchase and will back for more.

Great design but could be 50% larger so would keep more of the collar from curling. The white ones are useless (I do not have any white polos) so I would prefer for the white ones to be replaced with more gray or black or perhaps other common colors such as blue and red. I have not used them long enough to see how they will hold up to washing or if I need to peel them off before washing and put them back on when the shirts are dry. If so and the adhesive is weak then I will try some spray adhesive...

I got these for my husband to use on his golf shirts. We always pop the collar before putting them in the wash but eventually, a lot them them end up with a little curl on the tip and he hates that. These stick under the collar and flatten it out. I was concerned that they would be noticeable but you can't see them at all and there is no crease.

These work really well. And I will probably buy more in the future. The problem is, they don't wash so you need a new set every time you wear the shirt. I wish there was a better solution to the messy collar issue... at this point these seem to be the most reasonable option.

This is the best invention ever created. My polo are even better now, no more bad collars. I will be buying more of these and they do last more than 4 times on a polo.
