Leaks like a sieve, Impossible to clean filter, Threads don't fit US fittings
This thing is horrible. We bought this to fit on our frost free hydrant coming from our well. We are building a house and need to fill our motorhome up with water until we can move in. First of all, the threads aren't right. The garden hose won't fit on the end and the Male end to Female end adapter wouldn't tighten down enough. I finally added two garden hose gaskets to each side and the water slowed down enough to at least try the filter out. Keep in mind that it is 25 degrees Fahrenheit outside at the time. Almost immediately after running the water the filter started doing it's job. We have a bit of silt and rust in the well and unfortunately the filter plugged almost immediately. Keep in mind that this is AFTER we let the water run for a while to clear out any build up. Also keep in mind that our well was tested for purity and clarity 2 weeks prior. So I filled the motorhome and took the filter off to try to clean it. I specifically bought this filter because the Amazon heading called the filter (reusable). Needless to say, I really couldn't get this thing clean. I rinsed it with gold water, then I rinsed it with warm water and it really didn't do anything. I would continue to use this item if I was able to clean the filter, but I can't even use my air compressor because all of our household stuff is in storage while we are having our house built. I think a video showing how to clean the filter would be a wise investment for the company selling this. As of right now I plan on throwing this thing int he garbage and going to buy a different system from my local home improvement center.

This will definitely do the job!
Bought this as a pre-filter for our washing machine. We get a lot of sand in the cold line, so I'm constantly having to pull our entire machine out to clean that little mesh filter. No more! This will mount on the wall, and I can empty teh resivoir easily.Price was right, much cheaper than other options. it is strong and sturdy, well made. Arrived super fast!

Good but should add shutt off valve for cleaning
4 stars because no drain valve to clean it and not good for hot water over 100 f

USELESS FITTINGS
The so-called 3/4"MNPT connections are not tapered so they don't work with standard US pipe fittings, such as 3/4"FPT.Don't buy this product unless you want to get creative with connections!
