This is an incredible cookbook, everything I make from this book comes out tasting so good! My husband is Iraqi, and although I have no experience cooking Iraqi food, this book makes every dish taste just like the home food he is used to. I have tried many other Iraqi cookbooks, but this is the only one I use because it is simply the best. Iraqi food is so tasty and interesting as there are elements of inspiration from Turkish, Iranian, Arabic and Indian food all in one cousin. Highly recommended to any food lover.

I was utterly disappointed in the book and it's content. I think the book is over-rated and what is more it is over priced, especially considering it is published with recycled paper. Don't get me wrong, I am all for the environment and recycling in general, but recycling usually brings the cost down. All in all, I do not recommend it and it is a waste of money as it is of no substance.

The Iraqi Table is a loving tribute to the author's motherland and its food which bears the influence of many cultures and eras, making it a rich, eclectic and complex culinary experience. This book needs to be on everyone's shelf as is it filled with photographs that capture the soul of Iraqi cuisine preserving it for those who have left this complex country or those who have never been. The recipes are utter perfection and tempt me like no other book on this varied and vibrant area of the world. From street food to comforting meat dishes and delicious desserts, the 100 authentic recipes here along with personal anecdotes all pay homage to the author's love of her heritage and the family table.

love love love this book. I t highlight all the best Iraqi food recipes with a wonderful background history about each dish. i have my own and just ordered 2 for my 2 daughter which they grow up in US and grow up loving Iraqi food. very easy to fellow for anyone who loves food from Iraq .

I have been looking forward to receiving this book and was so happy to actually finally get it. Not only is the book beautiful, but it is full of amazing recipes that are so interesting that they include so many cultures that include the wide history of Iraq and its people. I had the pleasure of actually meeting Raghad and not only is she kind but very knowledgeable and has a tremendous history of her country. This book is a must if you want to learn more about Iraq, its neighbours and history of food. Definitely a keeper and will be used over and over and over again in my kitchen. Thank you Raghad for writing this very important book.

Great cook book for adventurous cooks! I have tried several of the recpies and they were very easy to follow. Also, they were a great hit at dinner parties! I especially love the pictures and the history included in the book.

It’s a great book that I will cherish and pass it on to my daughter. There are so many great recipes along with vivid photos to choose from.The delivery was real quick and the book arrived wrapped in a neat way.
