Tidings of Great Joy: A Novel Mass Market Paperback – November 2, 1999

I have read this book each year at Christmas, but I lent it, and it was not returned. Since it is an older book I was glad to find a copy.

Was a very good book! Couldn’t put it down. It made me laugh and cry

I ordered this book from someone on amazon and even though I read several reviews I couldn't decided if it were a book I would like, so I bought it. I waited a while before reading it and then one Sunday morning I decided to read it. In the back of my mind I saw the negative reviews and the average rating, but I found myself really getting into it.. I read it all the way through and thought these people on Amazon are crazy this was a wonderful book...THEN I TURNED TO THE VERY LAST PAGE and read the conclusion of the story. I was shocked, angry and finally laughing so hard I peed my pants! I can understand some people's dislike of the ending..but everything up until that point was actually cute, sexy, touching and fun like a lot of romance novels. If you like LaVryle Spencer books this is right up your alley, (the plot is EXTREMELY SIMILAR to Seperate Beds by Spencer without the wacked out ending)but be warned..the ending will leave you wondering, scratching your head and possibly throwing the book across the room or in the trash...HAHAHAHA!

SB is one of my favorite authors.Anticipating her new novel, while reading my way through ALL her other books.Read a teaser for TOGJ at the end of another book and bought the book days later.She's great!

This story is one of my top five romantic tales. It has become one of my go to books when I am in a romantic mood. The characters are believable, interesting, and lovable.

I read this years ago and loved it. In 2021 I liked it. When reading this remember when it was written, 1987, and you will enjoy the book for what it is. A light Holiday(ish) romance.

The book was exactly what I wanted.

I love her writing, if you want to read a feel good book, pick one of Sandra Brown's!

It wasn't as entertaining as I thought it would be, but still enjoyed reading this book. Something that could take your mind off all the things that are going on in this world.
