SToK Coffee & Spice Grinder 200 Watt Power (Dry Grinding ONLY) (Black)

I'm writing this review mainly because I had such a hard time finding a coffee grinder with with good reviews and I decided I'll take a chance on this one and I haven't been dissapointed. I should mention that I've only used it to grind coffee beans and not for spices.There isn't too much to say. It's a great coffee grinder that does the job perfectly. It's well built and uses an indian style 2 pin plug so it's easy to use in pretty much any socket or even on the go. It's compact and easy to store. The instructions are an accurate guide on the duration run it to get a coarse or fine grind. The only thing to keep in mind is that it doesn't grind a very large amount. I don't mind that because I like to grind my coffee beans every few days so that it stays fresh.

It works great, and makes fine powder of nuts and seeds, which is my primary reason for using it. But there is a slight design flaw that makes me worry about its durability.The flat part of the steel bowl just under the switch is not sealed properly, and the motor rests below the steel bowl. This means that food particles and water (when cleaning), will over time leak into the motor. The only thing I can do is to hold it upside down while cleaning and clean with water spray, so water doesn't leak down into the motor, but that still doesn't prevent food powder from going into the crack while using it.I thought this was an issue with the item I received so I returned and ordered a replacement but that also had the same issue, so I think it's a basic design issue. But I need it so I kept it.As for its effectiveness, it works well, it's not very loud and nuts and seeds are powdered well within 30 seconds. The only thing I've noticed is that it doesn't grind walnuts and pista kernels very well. Large chunks are left even after extended use.Otherwise, it's a well made product with a powerful silent motor and great quality plastic. I hope they fix the design issue with the sealing of the steel bowl.

Very sturdy product !! Easy to operate, easy to cleann, does the job nicely !!Already a user of other Stok products. They are hassle free, durable and i love their designs and black color finish. I love their paper shredder too !!A value for money buy!! Strongly recommended!!

Excellent small grinder and the company provides excellent service. I had received the defective product piece. Due to certain reasons, I opened the package after the return date had passed. The company very promptly asked me to return the grinder. They shipped another piece the same day as I confirmed dispatch from my end. Company reimbursed cost of courier also. 5 Star plus service.

1. It's not great for coarse ground coffee (french press) because you get a very unpredictable and uneven grind. If used for fine grinding, I think it'll work fine.2. I didn't use it for a couple of months and it stopped working. The parts inside, below the blade, are rusted. It started working again after trying several times but I'm concerned about rust in my coffee now 🤦🏻‍♂️ Made in China, btw.There are probably better products out there.

I wasn't too sure not keen on buying this grinder. Not sure whether it was my instinct or the purpose that made me buy it. It seemed weary from the moment i had it but it just surprised me. It's amazing!!! Does the job well. I had a 500 grams of coffee seeds and in no time i had grounded coffee.The only drawback is that you need to stop using for 5 minutes every 1 minute of grinding.However, it was a great purchase
