This is the only book which must be read by elders to help them face life

Arrived in time, in excellent shape. Very good print and paper quality.The book contains the original Sanskrit verses and has been translated very well, with both word-by-word translation, as well verse synopsis and also includes topical notes per verse. And the English translation is flawless and polished, with no jarring grammatical or typographical errors (a far as I've got in the book) to detract from the very ethereal concepts discussed - a testament to proofreading. Perfect for seekers and students of Sanskrit alike. Sashtang pranams to Swami Nityaswarupananda for sharing his perception through this labour of love.

One of the most authentic version of Astavakra Samhita. Each shloka is explained very clearly, shloka written in Devanagari script (sanskrit ) is followed by English meaning of every word followed by explanation in details. At the end it contains index to shlokas.One has to read it again and again (Pathan/ पाठन). Must for every Seeker.

Not much needs to be said about the Ashtavakra Gita for it is an absolutely amazing book. Thomas Byrom has done an English Translation titled 'The Heart of Awareness' which is eclectic & inspiring.But in this version, Swami Nityaswarupananda has done a far more accurate translation than Byrom. Also, he has added a succinct commentary to each of the verses that truly expounds into the sublime depth of each stanza.Strongly suggest that you have both books, the one by Thomas Byrom and this book and read each verse from both books for a consummate imbibement in meaning, interpretation, elevation & inspiration

it is not reading but doing meditation for this book, the flash of knowledge it will put on you is difficult to handle... read carefully you may change forever... it has the power to take you into such spiritual journey from which you can never return....
