I liked that this was a cut to length roll. Needed to mark a step on one level of a deck so people will know it's there. Also used this to put on a flight of stairs to the basement. The neon strip makes for good visibility and the tape definitely is slip-proof. Seems to be a very good product. Don't yet know how durable it is; will have to see how long it lasts.

After sealing my wooden deck, it was prone to be very slippery after it got wet. My wife and I are seniors now so this was a safety concern. My son suggested a gritty strip as an idea. This strip, with the reflective strip on it, was the ideal answer. Easy to install, did not take much time at all to put on, and so far does the job it was intended for. Not sure yet how it will handle snow, but will find out in the coming months. It is very important the area you will work on is clean and free of grit and dirt or the strip will not stick. So far I am impressed by this simple, inexpensive solution to our slipping problem.

Installed on rear porch steps. Much safer. Our older dog has an easier time climbing. One concern is how easy they will be to clean when it snows. Fluorescent stripe is a nice addition

After not installing a side railing on my outdoor patio stairs I and 3 of my neighbors hv tumbled! I had tried some other brands of neon tape etc! All hv come off, got super sticky or just plain didn't stick! This is 1)the perfect size for stairs 2) easy to apply ! 3) stuck easily and stayed on immediately after I installed it 4) has traction stuff on it as well as the neon glow strip that is built in to it!!!!CAN I GIVE THIS A 10 STAR RATING!!!!!!!!!!

This was exactly what I needed because I can cut the strips to the length I need. They were easy to install and the adhesive seems to be strong enough to last a long time.

I am appalled that a company feels the need to shortchange its customers in order to increase its bottom line. The product seems fine except it is not 30 feet as advertised, it is only 26'. So, you only get 9 steps instead of 10. Amazon was so nice to refund me for one roll. So, I am not complaining, but want everybody to know what this company does.

I used this on our wheelchair ramp and has been on for over a month through rain and a couple of frosts and have not seen any signs of peeling up. The glow strips on it makes for easy navigation in the dark. I would put this up against any 3M traction tape product.

My ramp to my shed was slippery when it got wet. This product added some traction. I bought another one that didn’t stick well. This one seems to have pretty good stickiness. I drive my lawn mower over it regularly, so I put a couple staples in it to keep it from coming loose. It’s been on the ramp for a couple months now and no problems. The glow strip doesn’t work great but I didn’t expect much. The glow is not bright and only after exposed to light.

Thinking of getting more for other areas.I got it for 15’ outdoor wood wheelchair ramp. Have more expensive brand name on it as well, no fluorescent.I like this brand better. Seems to have better grip to it, fluorescent is just the right about. Not to bright to see from a distance but great when your going up or down the ramp. Easy to cut and install. Works wonderful in rain and visible night, don’t know about snow yet. We did use construction adhesive on both brands for extra security, although it seems to stick pretty good where we didn’t put it. One piece did rip a bit, used little adhesive to stick it back down, it’s as good as new.Over all I’m very happy.

Pros:- Glow in the dark strip works, but only in pitch black- Easy to install - just cut, peel and slap it onCons:- Started to shrink after a week- Not as grippy as I thought it would beSo I installed these grip tape on clean bare wood, then I stained the area around the tape. It's only been a week and the grip tape already started to shrink 2 mm on all sides. It shows the bare wood after shrinking. Now I have to go back and stain the perimeter of all 30 feet of tape (15 steps)! It claims it can handle -20C, but outside went down to +4C and there was shrinkage! Did I get a bad batch?

I was looking for something that is no-slip to put on the stairs. Had a carpet before, but that's not great as it keeps moisture and dust. Found this tape and installation was pretty easy. Quite happy with the way it looks and feels. Will see how it will handle cold Canadian winter but I can always staple it if needed as I assume only glue can lose its grip.. Definitely, happy with the product.

I installed this on three steps & is holding up well so far. Our stairs are brick & a little uneven ... been no problem.Note: Our stairs are in a porch area & not exposed to the elements, but they have gotten slippery when there is snow and ice which is why we bought this product.I also installed a couple strips on the side of our treadmill to plant your feet on, working well for that too!

I used it for steps into our crawl space so it won't be subject to outside weather conditions, but certainly worked well for this application. The only problem I had was to get a start on peeling off the sticky side protection and that is becaues I have my naile cut short, so my problm.
