Works O.K. but has a few issues.
I've never had another kind to compare. I've had two in two furnaces for probably 15 years. They do add significant humidity, though not really enough for a large house. They can waste a lot of water. Also, every 3 - 6 years they seem to need repairs. I purchased a whole new one this time for replacement parts to fix my originals. The electrical disconnect is a bad design. It's very difficult to disconnect and it wears out. I've replaced them with much better 4-wire disconnects I got on eBay.

Filters don't last
Filters fall apart after only a few weeks! Pieces fall down and hit the fan!
