A-MAZ-ING
The media could not be loaded. This stroller is amazing. A-MAZ-ING.I am on baby #3 and have had 7 strollers in the past 5 years. Including a double BOB and the less-expensive single Baby Trend jogger. But with baby #3 here now, I decided to get a new, nicer single jogger. This Mountain Buggy Terrain is incredible. I am seriously obsessed with it and can't believe I didn't find it and get it with my first or second kids. I have trained for and run 2 marathons, several half marathons, 10ks and 5ks since baby #1 was born 5 years ago. So I consider myself a somewhat serious runner, and I have a LOT of experience with running with strollers.I was slightly hesitant on this one because of the high price tag and a few negative reviews, and only 4 stars overall, but now that I've put it together and used it, I'm pretty sure most of the complaints are user error from something not being put together correctly, because I have none of those issues. Or people deducting stars for things the stroller isn't even supposed to have (like an option for a second child to ride).. I don't see how it's not 5 stars across the board. Shoot, I'd give it 10 stars if I could. For starters, the canopy. Some reviewers said it sticks and is hard to use. I do not have this issue. I can easily move it with one hand, and it stays in place. It can be moved up and down and has plenty of coverage. It also has zippered phone holder pockets, which is super cool and convenient. The belt harness system - someone said it was complicated and they never could figure it out. So I expected some difficulty with it, but that was not the case at all. It is literally the easiest and most genius system for adjusting straps on a stroller that I've ever seen. EVER. Seriously. I'm not even kidding. And the release of all 5 points at once is awesome. The zippered pockets, zippered storage basket, and 2 water bottle holders are awesome. I no longer have to worry about things bouncing out while running. Again, genius design. The folding mechanism is also the most amazing folding mechanism I've seen on any stroller. Even better than my super light, fancy MacLaren umbrella stroller. It truly is only one hand if you do it right. I watched a tutorial video on the Mountain Buggy website because I couldn't figure it out at first. No, it's not really intuitive. Then I practiced several times and realized that it is truly one hand to open and close. And now it's super easy. I am for real obsessed with this system. You just need to watch the video to figure it out and practice a few times to get the hang of it. Then you'll wonder why this would not be on every other stroller on the market.I love that the stroller comes with 2 sets of wheels. You really feel like you're getting your money's worth.I love the handbrake - I live around big hills and it keeps the momentum of going downhill from pulling you way too hard and fast. It makes the stroller easier to CONTROL. Yes, the brake squeaks at first, but that quickly goes away. The foot brakes really are flip flop friendly. This is an issue I've had with every other stroller I've ever used. Not this one! I wondered what it meant by "flip flop friendly", and now I know. The Handlebar adjusts heights quickly and easily so it's comfortable for both myself, at barely 5'3", and my 6' tall husband.I love that the seat fabric is reversible, and also that it is removable and washable. That is hard to find, and strollers can get seriously gross from snacks, drinks, spit up, blow outs, etc. The seat has some nice cushion for a comfortable ride for my little one.The front wheel also adjusts very easily, and I really like how easily it adjusts to get straight, and how it has the option to swivel, lock forward, or backwards.Update here: I have found that the front wheel turned under the stroller is best for adjusting to lock the wheel straight and run with. I took the time on a long straight path to get it just right this way, and after 3-4 weeks of use running, walking, across soccer fields, etc, I still have not needed to readjust when locking it again for a run - it still moves on a straight line. I've always had to readjust my BOB front wheel each week - so this is much better! And finally, the suspension system makes for a smooth ride and easier pushing. This jogging stroller really is the best. I thought I wanted a BOB, but was annoyed with my options, and that pretty much everything is sold separately and is expensive to add on. I am so glad I found this one. They really thought of everything. I don't think I could love it more. And now I've also purchased the rain/weather shield, and the big sun shade so I can fully cover it for long runs and walks and when we'll be outside for long periods of time, in bright sunshine and even rain.Update: I've used both the weather and sun shields several times now. They work great, and I love that the front part zips open!I feel like I haven't even addressed every great thing about this stroller. There isn't anything about it that I don't love.If you are in the market for a jogging stroller, don't hesitate, just get this one. The design is fantastic and materials are high quality. You won't regret it.I've added a video of myself with baby in arms to show just how easy this is to work. In case anyone doesn't believe me. :) And I do have the child bar on upside down in the video, but it's easy enough to remove and turn over.

So in love with this stroller, but a few cons
Additional update: Bumper bar is still useless, don't even bother. Back tires are already worn out, and we do not use it even a fraction of the amount I used my Baby Jogger for my first baby, and I never replaced a tire the entire 7 years of heavy use. We still LOVE the buggy and recommend it over any in the market, but I am disappointed the tires already need replaced. The tires also need pumped pretty regularly.Update: We loved this stroller with the infant car seat adapter - could even run with the baby once we got clearance from the pediatrician. Just keep in mind that the center of gravity is a bit high when using the car seat adapter. Not a fan of the bumper bar. Smaller wheels would not stop squeaking, but we simply leave on the bigger wheels, no biggy.First post: So in love with this stroller. I researched strollers like mad, and this one won because:1. The swivel wheel got high ratings for stability while actually running,2. Can hold a car seat, with adapters,3. Seat lies absolutely flat (so great for newborns!),4. Storage both below the seat and by the handles,5. Swivel wheels - so easy to manipulate!,6. Both a foot brake AND a hand brake,7. Window in the large canopy,8. TWO sets of wheels, one set for off-road or running, one set for regular use,9. One handed fold,10. The under-seat storage zips closed (stuff won't bounce out!), and11. Adjustable handlebar - great when your hubby is a bit taller than you! We can both comfortably walk/run/hike with the stroller. The one relatively big downside? The baby bar. There is no way I am putting a food tray on a bar that moves freely up and down. But that's not the end of the world. Also, while there are cup holders by the handlebar, they do not lie flat. We usually use S'well bottles, so not an issue since they have closing tops, but if you want, say, a coffee handy, you may want to put another bar across the top to hold beverages upright.Baby is due in June, so will update my review when I actually start using it. But so far, love it! Everything I was looking for!(PS - Also bought this buggy via an Amazon Warehouse deal during my obsessive researching - who doesn't love something even more when you get it for about half-price :D )

great "on paper" WORST STROLLER in reality
If you are a serious runner DO NOT BUY THIS STROLLER! I wanted to find a stroller instead of the dominant BOB stroller and was very excited to try this one. I was even willing to overlook the horrible instruction manual, difficult Assembly and horrible horrible STENCH of this product in hopes of finding a jogging stroller other than a BOB. On paper, this is by far the best (follow the sun canopy, brake, adjustable handlebar, cool new colors, sleek design, zip underside storage, etc) however in reality, it's horrible. The canopy is not easy to maneuver-requires both hands and to adjust it, you have to "shimmy" it back n forth (it's not a smooth pull up and down like every stroller out there from the umbrellas to the joggers), it's HEAVY and I don't mean this in the sense of folding and picking up-but when you run with the thing, you really FEEL THE WEIGHT of the stroller. You have to really push the thing and forget running one handed with it. And WORST OF ALL, the brake squeaks LOUDLY and the front wheel shakes violently on speed runs.

Cons: kinda small underneath compartment, bit heavy (like all of jogging ones), quite expensivePros: full recline (was able to use it almost from day zero without carrycot or anything), smooth driving, well thought design, quality materials

I'm so disappointed!
I was very excited to find this all terrain with optional parent facing stroller. It arrived today, the parent facing option, isn't included, you have to purchase an additional $200 seat, when you go to their website, parents are complaining the rear facing accessory will only last until a baby is about 3 months. I have a special needs toddler that gets sensory overload very quickly, if she were facing me, we would be able to do more activities as a family. I'm so disappointed!
