I.LOVE.THEM!!! I ordered two sets (multicolored) so I could hang them around my fence. They bring magic to my yard and keep a smile on my face. Unlike the others I’ve created and used, these have a single battery in the lid, so you don’t have to hide a large battery pack, AND change said batteries often, ARE actually solar powered, and very well made. The sturdy wire went nicely around my quart sized Mason jars (not included), ** but did require a little elbow grease to hook on a few.Make sure the hangar is going the direction you want before connecting would be my only recommendation, as I had to undo a few and flip them so they fit with my design.I bought mine for ambiance, yet they can be seen from the street for others to admire, so they are just what I wanted, but more! They turn on/ off pretty much in sync and have nicely weathered the wind and rain.Pricing was very reasonable compared to others I’ve priced or purchased and I like their quality much better.ENJOY!!!

I don’t often leave reviews. These are best solar lights I have bought thus far. The top actually has some weight to it. While unboxing the lights I could tell they were going to last. They cost a little more than other options but I have a feeling that these lights will work for a long time. Only concern is they don’t screw on as securely as I would like. I’ll have to wait and see if moisture gets in.

We've used these for several weeks on our outside porch in California. We also took a couple to use on our picnic table while camping about a week ago. The light is so soothing. And I love the idea that if you break a jar, all is not lost. We always have empty jars to recycle. The only thing I would advise is don't expect to be able to read in this light except maybe if they're all grouped together. The optional handles are an added feature. With a full solar charge they last through the night until dawn. I've even taken one in to my bathroom from time to time to serve as a night light. This purchase has really turned out to be a small, simple indulgence yet practical.

These are great, until they leak. For some reason, rain water gets into the jar through the "sealed" solar array in the lid. Once water is inside, it evaporates in the sun making a nice fog coating all over the inside of the jar -- including the battery contacts and switch and circuit board. Corrosion and a dead unit is what happens next. Yes, you can keep emptying out any rain water and drying them out. But really.....Other than the leaking problem, these are a nice color, appropriately bright. The lid ring does seem to be stainless, so should not rust for a while if ever. I would give them a 5-star rating but for the water issue. And sadly I have found no way to easily fix that.

These lights worked perfect on jelly jars that were put in a metal Tiki holder. They are not super bright but they create a mood light we were looking for.

This is the second time I ordered this set. I thought 2 of my lights had finally given up (the set comes with 8), so I ordered the 2nd set to fix those 2 and then have back ups. Turned out all I needed to do was replace the rechargeable batteries! So now I have 16 lights-enough for the front walkway and for the rock path around our koi pond. The original batteries lasted almost 13 months and I left them out year round. Love the warm glow they add. They stay on from dusk to dawn-about 9 1/2 to 10 hours this time of year.They have made some improvements since I ordered a year ago. The metal bands were much easier to put on the jars and the lids seem to go on a little better.Would definitely order again!

I purchased this for my twins (boy/girl) 10th birthday. I wanted something easy to give away to the birthday drive-by attendees. I purchased 16 of these tops and the plastic 16oz regular mouth jars. This lids fit perfectly! I added stickers for the themes of the two bday kids: Space/Galaxy and iconic killers (Freddy, Jason, Michael, etc.). The end result was fantastic! They used the stickers on the outside of the plastic jar, then put the lights as the topper inside. A battery is included. Be warned - take them to a dark place to test them. I hadn't realized it needed to be dark for them to work (I'm sure we looked like fools thinking they were broken.) Now my kids use their personalized lanterns in their room. The picture was not w/the lights on - but they are multi colored and very bright.

We have purchased a few different brands of these lights and we like these simply because of the number of lights is incredible compared to others. Some brands do a good job, but these lights fill the whole jar with lights. We love taking these camping. We zip tie then to trees all around us. We have several in the trees of our back yard and the tree at our biz.

The lights are bright and last many hours. The one issue is that in the coolness of the evening condensation can form water inside the mason jar and even on the circuits of the light. Even with tight seal on the jar the light is not exactly water proof. After rain, I found water inside several jars despite screwing on lids tightly. One light stopped working as water inside the battery compartment interfered with its operation. Rust had also formed on connections due to the moisture. After drying it and cleaning with isopropyl, it worked again. I would not recommend using these lights in cold or wet weather. Used inside they should be fine.

The first night I was so so impressed. These mason lids are built so well and airtight, plus they lasted the whole night. However, every night after that, the batteries died about an hour after sunset. I'm now looking to spend another $20 on more solar batteries for replacements.

We put these up in November 2020 (it is March 2021 now) and all 8 have held up great through the cold and snowy winter in our back yard! They are nice and bright and stay lit up for at least 4-6 hours in the night--even on snowy and cloudy days when they haven't had a lot of bright sun to charge them. I am so happy with them!

Absolutely love these! Great item. Totally worth the price! Pretty much came charged out of the box! Love the inserts! Had to order more as I bought them as a gift and didn't want to give them away! Love that it fits standard mouth mason jars a d comes with handles to hang them. Multicoloured ones are like fairy lights

I gave a good review on these lights last week. They are bright, however they do not fit all mason jars, in fact I have had trouble finding jars they fit.
