Good Intentions
While some have complained that the movie was too slow, I think that it should have covered more time. The most unbelievable issue was that this all took place in one week. I liked the basic story, I just think it would have played better not if the movie was longer but that the time it portrayed was longer. As for the comments that these impersonators were not professional enough, then I say you have not been out in the real world and seen any of the shows which play around the country. Most of the impersonators are trying to look good, and often they look like they are trying. The perfectly polished exist on RuPaul, but not so much in real life. The movie is rough around the edges, the dialog and acting is awkward in places, the costumes and players are not perfect and yet the movie was enjoyable. And it ends on a positive note. I am so very tired of gay themed movies where no one is happy at the end of the story. Even with the flaws, this movie leaves you smiling.

Good enough for me to watch more than once!
A fun, obvious low budget movie that I thoroughly enjoyed. My best friend and I laugh at anything that some wouldn't even bother to laugh at, so it was somewhat humorous to me. But, if you look for literal funny moments, you may not be pleased. I'd say at least, the storyline is something we've all seen already with the obvious cliches but honestly, although it has some flaws, I really do like this movie and would watch again.

Feel good movie, but plan to overlook some inherent flaws.
Let's start with, I really enjoyed this movie. I really enjoyed it even though much of the plot was contrived. I really enjoyed it even though only a couple of the drag queens looked like professionals, and the main drag queen character wasn't one of them (I mean, come on...we've all watched RuPaul's Drag Race and know that the girls that mean business either hide or shave their eyebrows).I really enjoyed this movie even though a couple of the plot points were painfully contrived.I really enjoyed this movie even though the main character looked a little old to be in the situation he finds himself in. This guy looks like he's almost forty, and given his life story at the beginning, you'd expect him to be mid-to-late twenties. But, I have to admit, I'd just as soon slap his girlfriend as to look at her.So, even with the flaws, the story flaws, and the occasionally wonky cinematography, I would rent it again, and probably will.

Storyline is great but there are some flaws which can be overlookedyou can tell that it was kinda like a homemade movie but that gives it the feel that its a real life story andnot some perfect polly pocket movie.although the queens didint look great, thats how most queens start off except moneisha u can seeshe knows how to w-w-w-work a brush !some parts you can be reminded that its scripted but thats just how all of us queens areewish i could find movies like this or similar to this i really enjoyed waching

Loved Heels!
A very well written and loveable film. The music was great, where is the soundtrack? Not sure what others compare budget to but for an indie gay film I have to say it well done. I am tired of the films where they shoot everything in one location, no depth to the film. This is total comedy and not Rupauls Drag Race which I presume some judge the performance of drag queens which I thought were hilarious. Bravo!
