price was right.... put in the maglite d cell 3 count...also in the 6 cell, after two years,,, power holding... use the flashlight every other day too.... bought the 4 pack and the 8 pack.... shop for that bonus pricing though,, batteries gave me my money's worth as is... nice to purchase on sale... have repeated order...

I put these in a my buddy heater to run the fan. It's a portable heater that we bring with us to parades, winter events, etc. Lot of people use them for hunting and for RV's or camping. Mine has a heater and takes D batteries. These lasted the entire evening that I needed them for and still have some juice left in them. I'd say they are great for the discounted price vs the name brand Duracell. Yes, I know Duracell will last longer but not so much to justify the price difference. You could probably buy 2 sets of these for 1 of the Duracell.

I recently purchased a pack of Rayovac D batteries to power some of my household devices, and I must say that I was initially impressed with their performance. These batteries lasted an exceptionally long time, providing reliable power to my gadgets for over a year without any noticeable decline in performance. I was pleased with the cost-effectiveness and longevity of these batteries, and they seemed like a great value for the price.However, my positive experience took a turn for the worse when I discovered that one of the batteries had leaked after approximately a year of use. The leak caused damage to the electronic device it was powering, and I was quite disappointed by this unexpected and unfortunate outcome.While I cannot deny that the Rayovac D batteries performed admirably for an extended period, their eventual leakage has left me feeling hesitant to fully recommend them. The fact that such a long-lasting product ended up causing damage due to leaking is a significant drawback, and it has certainly impacted my overall satisfaction with these batteries.In conclusion, while the long-lasting performance of the Rayovac D batteries initially impressed me, the subsequent leakage issue has tarnished my opinion of the product. I would caution potential buyers to carefully monitor the batteries over time to ensure that they do not encounter a similar problem. I hope that Rayovac can address this issue to ensure that their otherwise reliable batteries do not cause unexpected damage to consumers' devices in the future.

Value for price they are not the best but get job done with quality

I need D batteries for the lid of my automatic kitchen trash can. I usually purchase a different brand, but the last few times I bought them they only lasted approximately 2 months when typically its 5-6 months. I decided I change in brand was necessary so I purchased these. I'm glad I did. The lid swings open immediately with a swipe of motion and closes just as quickly. Lately I've had to manually close the lid. A change of brands was definitely needed, I'm very happy I chose the Rayovac brand, economical pack of 4.
