HP Newest Stream 14" HD(1366x768) Display, Intel Celeron N4000 Dual-Core Processor, 4GB RAM, 32GB eMMC, HDMI, WiFi, Webcam, Bluetooth, Win10 S, Brilliant Black(Renewed) (Brilliant Black/ N4000)

I like it for its lightness and solidstate hard drive. The last 3 computers I lost due to standard hard drive breaking. What pisses me off is that the hard Drive is 32GB which means I can barely run anything fortunately it has an SD card slot so I bought the largest capacity SD card I could get to put my data in it and some software I use often. I travel alot so wifi isn't always available to use ut as a purly cloud computing device. Not everyone lives in a megapolis with free wifi everywhere . If I could strip all the excess bloatware out of Win10 it would be perfect. Also the McAfee that was supposed to come with it, wasn't installed but when I downloaded it, that too was bloatware that was immediately removed. I went back to my standard streamlined antivirus/firewall package and now not a glitch. I also got rid of the ridiculous win10-s and went with the full Win-10 for better functionality. Its an economy class computer, so you get what you pay for. But with that in mind there are work arounds and improvements that can be made if you know a bit about computers.

This computer is excellent for the price! I purchased this laptop for my Daughter for under $200 dollars! I bought it for her for Christmas so she could play her Sims4 on it. With the memory that is built in it, the Windows 10, and all the updates you couldn't really download a huge game like the Sims4. So I went to Staples and bought a 64 GB flash drive for $20 dollars and now she is able to download and play all kinds of games including her Sims. This computer is made for just Web browsing, Work, or School work but if you have the extra money to get a SD card or Flash Drive and you want to use it to play games, I would suggest doing these options first before getting an external hard drive. I know my Daughter loves it. I also bought the rainbow keyboard to go with it! Now she can have it to play games which I am happy because that's what I initially bought it for! You definitely can't beat the price! One happy customer! 😁

Love it, love it, love it. A full size keyboard, with very limited memory. I solved the memory issue, by adding a SDHD card, and two USB thumb drives. I use one thumbdrive for business records, and the other for personal (photos, etc.). I have had my machine for 3 years, and it is going strong. No problems, other than the limited memory issue. You can't always add bulky software, unless you strip out a lot of other "stuff."However, most software solutions are online now, and it has not been an issue for me. I love this machine so much, as it is priced right for the projected life span of the technology (I usually replace my computer every 3 years or so). I have gifted this machine to three family members, who also love it. It is NOT a desktop computer, and it does not have the memory for a lot of bulky programs. But, nearly 100% of my tasks are completed on Microsoft office suite (Word, Excel), or online. Highly recommend.

This was exactly what I needed. My daughter wanted her first laptop for Christmas. Once I finally received it (I will explain later) I opened it. It was well packaged and completely free from any signs of use or damages. It looked brand new. It started right away. I did the entire set up process with no issues. It seems like a very good starter computer. I am overall very happy with my purchase. After a few months of searching this is like a perfect match for what I needed.Now to the comment when I received it. There was an issue with the shipping that was NOT the sellers fault. There have been several issues in my area with local mail. When my package didn't arrive when it should have I contacted the seller. They immediately contacted me back and completely resolved all issues.

I like how lightweight the laptop is (purple stream), but, the top of my screen came with a very weird looking mark on top of it. It looks like a thumb, but with like a white residue (looks like spray paint) in the top. Yes, I tried wiping it off. Other than that, it’s perfect! I’m going to paint a black cat sitting over the mark just so I don’t have to send it back and everything.

Opened today about a week after delivery, saw that they sent me a usb-c charging cord instead of one that goes to it, so I guess I won’t have it slow down on me since I only get to use it until the battery runs out the first time

I bought this for my wife for her college courses and had a huge problem with the storage being maxed out an that's how it came with no personalization an you cant erase anything off of it you have to buy an external harddrive for it to work properly but other than that I have to problem with it the wife still uses it today we have had no major issues....so all in all it's worth the money just know if you purchase go ahead and buy that hard drive also...thanks

Was a little skeptical about purchasing this laptop, due to the comments about low storage space. I was able to boot the computer just fine, make all the necessary updates and download a game (Roblox) for my daughter. Plays this game no problem. I did end up buying a 64GB SD card to expand the storage for future downloads. All in all, this laptop is super light weight, comes with a proper version of Windows 10 (stars in S mode but can easily be switched to Home, unlike other versions that make you purchase Home). Great laptop. Highly recommend as a nice starter laptop for child/student.
