This product is amazing...
I don't understand ppl putting bad reviews about this product. Well in a way of course. Why ? Because this product is for GM Trucks ONLY !!! this is a scanner that I saw a lot of ppl complaining about it and one had a Honda and many more. You guys are the distracted ppl thinking it will be the same. WELL NO ! certain things that this scanner does it's only for certain types of the GM computers. To be able to read them up to the last detail. Yes you can buy it for any other car but it won't be the same. If you have any other type of car just buy the one for your car. And stop posting bad things about this product if your are the one resposible for it.I was able to read 3 codes the same day this arrived. While other scanners were not able to. The P300 missfire I had turned out to be an injector and not other thing. And a couple more that other scanner didn't even picked up.My Tahoe is running like a champ again thanks to this.

Finally, no more dealer for all the goofy modules!
This is the computer we have all been waiting for. GM has a lot of modules. But the one module you could not previously get into was the Air Ride. You had to take it to the dealer and pay them for the code. Despite popular belief, the air ride rocks, its easy to fix and you are crazy to convert. Having this computer works like a champ when I got the dreaded message on the dash. It pulled the codes, it was sensors, all replaced at n/c from Arnott which I used to update my air ride on my '05 Yuki Denali. It also has the mod for bleeding the brakes. This is a great product at a great price.

Was able to read the details behind the service messages (more than typical cheap scanner)
I have an old 2000 suburban. I was able to read the details behind the 'Service Ride Control' error in the message center. Note: for the Service Ride Control messages, I had to navigate into the chassis section. I found the interface fairly easy to use with buttons vs cheap touch screen I have used on other devices.I do have to manually select the vehicle each time but once you know/remember the letter in the fifth spot of your VIN it goes quick. I assume this is an issue with the age of my vehicle and not the device.

You will regret buying this
1. The manual contains very little operator information and is very very tiny print. Bottom line basically useless2. There are NO UPDATES NONE ZIP ZILCH NADA3. This is totally different from the i900 Shown on their own website - go see for yourself. This must be several years old4. They do NOT respond to support requests5. Many of the features listed are grayed out for many model years making them unusable6. Get ready to scroll... and scroll and scroll. The most items that can show on the screen are 4 lines. So you may have to scroll as many as 25x to get through a list7. Only God knows how to get the data out of the unit and on to a computer so you can print it out. So if you are foolish enough to purchase this plan on PRAYING8. Many of the features they are using to sell this with do not actually work or are not present.9. Why are you still reading this you should have stopped for sure by reason number 4.Back Back Back it goes and I hate returning anything it means wasted hours driving back to the drop off and all the hassles of waiting for a refund so I can buy something that actually does what it says. But that will be more hours of research as all these items are basically Made in C ____ you know the story.

Not as versatile as expected
Good tool, works as intended, not as versatile as another iCarsoft scanner I have (for Ford, this one is for Chevy). Next time will consider a different brand.

Worked to fix my automatic climate control
I have a 2014 CTS Vsport. The right side always blew warmer than the left and it started cranking up the fan because of the difference. I thought it might be a calibration issue but with this tool I was able to tell the upper left vent was indicating 120+ degrees despite blowing closer to 35. Replaced the sensor and everything's working normally again.

DO NOT BUY!!! Was a great product.....two years ago.
I had purchased this scanner shortly after I had bought a used 2010 GMC Sierra 1500 back on jan. 30, 2021 to diagnose an issue that my older cheap scanner couldn't do. I was able to read the SRS codes and replace the steering wheel position sensor. Then I hadn't used the scanner for two years.Just last weekend (April 1st 2023) I had some trouble codes pop up on my GMC. I had plugged in this scanner into the trucks OBD II port, and all I get is a boot error. Nothing would happen no matter what buttons that I had depressed. I had went online at the manufacturer site, and this version of scanner IS NO LONGER SUPPORTED! I cannot update this scanner because of discontinued product support. Reaching out to customer service was a flipping joke too! So now I have a useless expensive tool that's nothing more than an elaborate paperweight. My cheap six year old scanner still works, but it doesn't diagnose ABS error codes. I'll spend thevextra money and buy from a quality reputable supplier next time.

Useful for some things but not for what I need (2008 Chevrolet Uplander SRS)
It isn't difficult to use or read. Displays data easily. However there seem to be no SRS/Airbag support for my 2008 Uplander minivan which is one of the 2 reasons I purchased it, so I may return it soon. After a few attempts, disconnecting and reconnecting the device via a mini usb to usb data cable (an old camera cable that I fortunately still had around and NOT the standard phone micro usb connector), I was able to successfully update the i900.Update: So nothing changed as far as support for my 2008 Uplander in the menu settings but I happened to select 2007 for the year model which is identical to my 2008, and it did pull up more Body and Chassis options to scan, including SRS.However no ABS category still.
