Great for limited table space.
So, the group I game with.. we often have papers, tile sets, miniatures, beer bottles, plates.. and whatever else all crowding the table which kind of puts space at a premium. This thing is pretty cool because it keeps all my dice organized and confined to one little space. This is helpful because I have this 'signature move' where I roll a dice, it flies off the table, gets chased by the cat, batted under the heaviest appliance in the room and then we all get to stop gaming and move a refrigerator so I can extract my errant D20. Yeah, it was funny the first time, but now I think the next time will get my character killed by an angry Dungeon Master, so I like the fact that this helps me keep my dice contained in one spot. Don't let your character get revenge killed by an angry DM that didn't want his refrigerator moved.. get one of these today!

Perfect
I'm really enjoying this dice tray so far, I like having multiple sets of dice with me but I'm not a fan of the bigger drawstring bags since they get all mixed up and it takes time, even if it's only a minute or two, to sort them out. This allows me to display them while also having a great place to roll, especially since I have all metal die now and those suckers can really leave a nick or two in your table if you're rolling straight onto it. I have six sets of metal dice in the outer ring currently and they fit just a tad big snugly, but I've never had an issue getting them all in there. Six is definitely the top limit though. I've had multiple people ask me where I got it, and they've assumed it was quite a bit pricier then it was for the quality. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who enjoys their dice collection and wants to spiff it up a bit during sessions.

Great, especially for metal dice!
I've been needing a dice tray for a while now. Most of my metal dice are from Forged and they are the best I own so I figured this tray would be a safe and great addition. And I was correct. It's big enough to get good roles, with plenty of space on the sides to set up all your needed dice. I've rolled several hundred times with my metal dice so far and don't see any effect to the lining, which is pretty nice and soft. Two things I will say "against " it. The lid is secure enough, but I wouldn't transport dice in it unless you used something else to keep it together. I knew that though so I'm not taking marks off. Second was the box had a light coating of dust or powder on some of it, but again not taking points off for something that took me a minute with a paper towel to remove. All in all, I highly recommend.

Flawed, but nice
Really nice size dice tray, bigger than expected. Looks and feels like quality item except the beautiful green "forged logo" is not centered correctly on outside case cover. My dice case was delivered without a protective brown box, but was shipped directly in its brand product box with shipping labels stuck all over it and was significantly beat up. Considering sending this item back and exchanging it for identical, but un-flawed replacement - intended for a Christmas gift.

Forged Dice Co. lives up to the reputation
In then end, this is particle board or even cardboard wrapped in faux leather. But it doesn't matter, because it's so impeccably put together it feels like a luxury product. The velour like padding is soft yet still provides a good surface for those pointy and heavy metal dice to roll through. The arena is large enough to store TONS of dice if you decide to use the lid as the rolling surface. The grooves can hold about 35 dice total, so 5 full sets-ish.All in all, it's a expertly put together product that really feels like it can stand up to the beating of dice rolling and travel.

Looks and feels great
When reviewing, it's always important to review based on price, not against something that is 10 times the cost. That said, this box is well made. The seems are clean and straight and the presentation is beautiful. It's more than I had hoped for and I think anyone that is looking for a dice tray/storage box would be happy with it. I keep 5 sets of DnD dice around the perimeter and my primary set in the middle. If I need a multi-roll, I just reach for the proper dice from the perimeter. I would buy again.

The most bang for your buck
I looked at a lot of rolling arenas to purchase for my daughters birthday. I found some that were nicer, and some that were cheaper, but this one was both affordable and of good quality. I especially like that the inside of the lid is felt lined giving you a second arena of larger size. For me I like the larger lid size for rolling, but my daughter likes the smaller one. This arena gives you choices and at an affordable price.

Excellent! Must have for any tabletop player!
If you need a dice tray, this is the one to get! I love that it stores all my dice in one tidy place! My metal dice don't damage the table anymore and there aren't any problems with dice rolling off the table. This is a quality made tray with beautiful colors. It stores nicely in the bookcase with our DND books, overall this is one of my favorite Amazon purchases. Everybody needs this!

Magnificent
I just received this product today and I'll be honest, it's far better than I ever thought it would be. I bought this sort of on a whim, but now I would recommend it to any table-top role-players, DMs and players alike. I thought this thing would be small, I obviously didn't grasp the size properly, but it's not, it's perfect. The lid as well is also lined with the felt, and I totally intend to keep the main case and "octagonal arena" for myself to use and put the lid in the centre of the table for my players to use.I honestly can't speak more highly of my initial impressions of this case, and the product has very clearly been created by nerds for nerds, and I love it. I've just been sitting here rolling dice in both the main chamber and the lid and it's going to work out amazingly. It's large to fit all the dice and be able to roll in, but it also has a relatively thin form-factor, which means it can easily be thrown into a backpack for travel. I can stress this enough that it's large but in all the right ways, as in it's bigger than I expected but the choice of dimensions is absolutely on point. As to the comment of the person claiming it's not really blue, I agree but disagree. It's more of a deep blue verging on indigo, but I would not call it purple. If you google "indigo bunting" and look at the darkest coloured birds, that is pretty close to the colour of the felt.

Decent quality
The dice arena looks very cool but the overall quality isn't quite was I was hoping for with the price. Sure it's great and it feels nice inside, but the wrapping had come away slightly where the two pieces had connected on mine and for some reason there was a thing layer of residue over the whole thing (probably from production line or something like that) overall happy but unsure if I'd buy another, the lid is a good size for rolling dice but the 'arena' itself is a bit small for it, though it does the job alright

Larger than expected
This was a gift for my grandson. He seemed pleased with the item as he thought it would be smaller, therefore a very pleasant surprise.

Packaging
This was sent by sticking a label to the product packaging. Luckily the item itself arrived in damaged but there was no box, not even tape to keep the product packaging closed (it practically fell apart in my hands)The dice tray itself is amazing!
