Caps Fit Metro Shelving Perfectly
The caps fit Metro shelving perfectly. They have the same OD diameter of the originals caps. The portion that fits inside the tube is slightly larger in diameter than the ID of the tube. The caps hammered in easily with a rubber mallet for a tight fit. The caps sit perfectly on the tubes. They're outside diameter does not extend beyond that of the tube. Perfect fit. I will buy these again, and recommend them to anyone looking for tube caps for their Metro shelving.

protection for floor
Fixed my problem. I had purchased a wrought iron bed at a consignment store. cleaned and repainted intoa beautiful bed but needed protection for the metal legs. (like a metal tube) measured the hole purchased and these worked perfectly.My hardwood floor is now protected.

Perfect size for my 1” metalTubing.Actually a bike rack made of 1” o.d. Metal tubing. Easy install and good retention.

These seem decent enough....
These are adequate for what they are made for. I bought the wrong size, but now I know, and that's not the plugs fault. Re-ordering for the proper size. I hope.

Dimensions of plugs was not as stated.
Was unable to use them, as they were supposed to fit inside a 0.75" ID tube, but were too large and unusable. I just threw them out, they weren't even worth keeping.

Perfect fit for my 50’s table!
I wish I had found these sooner! We moved into a new house and my original 50’s style table with metal legs was the only table that would fit in our small house. However the leg ends had long lost there caps. So off to Amazon and I found these which fit perfectly to protect the floor from getting scratched.
