Don't waste your money
Even if your pots measure up right, they won't stay on. The tightening screw isn't even drilled through, its just for show. Absolutely a waste of money but too cheap to bother returning. Not even heavy enough to be a good paper weight.

Exactly as advertised.
These were just the ticket for my Ibanez bass guitar. They went on snug and tightened firmly. To all the naysayers I say READ the instructions! You don't need to drill anything. The set screw puts pressure on the plastic liner inside and tightens just fine. Do not over tighten. Line the set screw up with the split in the control post. This will keep from pinching the two sides of the post together which makes it easier for the knob to both slide off and wobble.

Do not buy
When I installed these knobs and went to tighten the set screw with the provided wrench it just rounded out the set screw. I removed the set screw from one of the other knobs and discovered it was not drilled through!!! What good is a set screw that isn't allowed to contact the shaft of the control pot???? The knobs will just fall off if they even turn the shaft on the control pot. I will drill out the remaining 3 as it got them for a Stratocaster.

Nice brass knobs
Good brass black painted knobs. Only one bad thing is that each knob had a set screw and one of the knobs was missing the screw, my old knob screw fit and Amazon compensated me so I didn't have to return them.

Trash...don’t bother
Not worth repackaging and returning over $7. Trash that doesn’t even tighten down on potentiometer shaft. Immediately threw away and reordered FENDER, which I should’ve done to start with. Don’t waste your time or money on these.

Why make fake screw type knobs?
As others have noted the adjustable screws are useless without modifying the knobs. The screw hole doesn't go through to where the shaft of the pot would be, you'd have to drill them out. Not really sure why you would spend extra time and money on every part for a useless feature.

Read before buying!
These are not bad by any means, however the locking mechanism is just there for show unless you drill a hole through it. They were a tight fit as is and wouldn't come off of my pot unless I ripped it out. There are better ones out there...

Works great!
Got these to replace some tacky knobs on my new (used) Korean Steinberger Double neck, and they worked like a charm. Some reviews say they don't work, but they do. You just have to have the right pots. Other reviews mention they work best on the asian pots, and ad mine is Korean, it worked great. Also check the fit on my Agile, and they also worked like a charm there. If you have the right guitar, these are cheap and work exactly as advertised. Look and feel good as well!

Good quality finish, good value.
I bought these to replace the old & missing knobs on 2 Ibanez RG550s., They fit perfectly and match the quality of the parts they replace, for a very reasonable price. It is nice that they come with the allen key for fitting.
