My first ever jar bought for holding spaghetti. Well made sturdy, no wobble good clear glass appropriate thickness and topped with an attractive bamboo lid which makes a change from plastic. It holds over a Kilo, cannot remember if actually one and a half or two kilos. definitely opened two 1 kg packs. Lovely jar, love it. good value.

I'm pleased with the jars. They're basically just what I wanted for storing flour and castor sugar. However I wasn't over impressed with the packaging and feel it was lucky they were in a box with something else which provided padding. The jars were just surrounded by thick brown paper. The thickness of the glass isnt as substantial as I'd hoped and I think care will have to be taken not to knock them too hard.All that being said, they're a good size and nice enough to look at. So overall pleased with purchase.

Have been looking for this kind of size and eventually found it here. Used for storing nuts in and seems to be good quality. Glass has a reasonable thickness to it which means it shouldn't break easily and the lid has a good amount of suction to provide air tight without breaking fingers to get the lid off. Impressed with how good, neat and clean it looks. Came well packaged and bubble wrapped too.

I bought this specifically for spaghetti. The thing is the height of the glass is the same as the length of most spaghetti. So you cant actually get the lid on if you fill it. Fine for storing other stuff though I guess.

Just the right Height for Spaghetti.Lovely Bamboo lid that fits nice and tightLooks nice on the countertop.Yes it's a bit thin but not a problem for me.Came wrapped in lots of bubblewrap, then wrapped in loads of paper and a nice thick carboard box.

Lovely looking jar. Quite thin glass so not sure how well it will do with young kids about! Seals well and is just the right size for standard spaghetti. Bamboo lid is a little rough on edges. Guess this is reflected in the price.***edit***Didn't last 2 weeks! It tipped over on the counter top and smashed 😕
