Kikkoman Maroyaka Soy Sauce, 33.8-Ounce

The media could not be loaded.  Soy source made in Japan uses non GMO soybean. That is good. You'll see where the finger pointing.Taste? I don't have a taste buds after Covid so no comment. I am sure this is decent. Not fancy like more pricy longer fermented one, but decent.

First off, this maroyaka soy sauce is amazing and getting difficult to find. Unfortunately the listing says "pack of 2" but only one bottle came. Not sure if it was a packing issue or an advertising issue, but there definitely weren't 2 bottles.

We were disappointed with the progressive decline in soy sauce potency and heard about DARK soy. We can tell a difference when using it with cooking and dipping sauces. A little goes much further and the flavor is more rich and robust. We were glad we bought a 2 pack and will be ordering more when we finish the bottles.

you do not have to mix with an other flavor.Just use it for stir fly or fried rice.

Very good sauce! The two-bottle package can be used for a long time. While this is Japanese sauce, I find it very similar to sauce from Chinese brands when cooking Asian food. If you feel the price/quantity ratio of this product is good enough, then pick this one as the quality is more than decent.

I love this stuff, have ordered more than once. The only soy sauce I can get locally is low grade and tastes like the chemical extract it is so no comparison. If pressed to make a comparison I'd say that compared to this the other soy sauce shouldn't be classified as "food". Paint stripper maybe but definitely not food. Not sure how the Maroyaka would stack up against the better soys available in higher end groceries.

Not as good as soy sauce I've had in Japan, yet it's far better than the standard soy sauce you'll find in the grocery store in the U.S.

To really appreciate this product, you need to really have been raised on soy sauce based recipes and food. Otherwise, the standard soy sauce you can find in your local grocery store is more than sufficient.
