Seems fine. Easy to install.
Good replacement! You NEED to carefully look at the SMALL labels for each wire clip and match them to the ones on the original element. Two of them switched places! The labels are one-color and tiny. Other than that, installation was easy.

First one arrived broken
These are fairly fragile and my first one arrived in pieces. The seller replaced it quickly and it was fairly easy to install if you have some basic skills with a screwdriver. The wiring was a little different but if you look very closely there are markers 2(a) and 2(b) etc. etched into it. Just match them to your old burner and it should work fine. I used it on an old Kenmore.

Need detailed installation instructions with element. With two people, installation is fairly fast. Wiring is a little different on the new element versus the original.

Works great, but installation is tricky
Product was in excellent condition, and once installed works fine. Because the terminals are not in the place as they are on the old part, some rearranging of the wires is necessary. If you do not have any electrical experience, it may be best to have a professional do the installation

Terminal locations are not same as with original 316555800
The terminal locations are different than the original 316555800 and you must figure that out by tracing the function of each of 5 connections. There is no wiring diagram provided. In my case the ground connector moved about 1" further and I needed to fish some excess wire from the back of the stove. It does work.

So far so good. Works as advertised and was easy to install. Not much more to say than that.

Changed connectors with no explanations
Was impossible to install since they changed the connectors without including schematics to help with installation.

buner was return and refund because switch was no good and repalaced . Burner is ok.

Easy to install
Make sure to save the screws and springs from bottom of old burner as the new one does not come with any. You need these to center the burner properly.
