This dress was perfect for our recent son’s wedding. The fit was also perfect. I am 5’4” and weigh 140 pounds. The size 8 could not have fit any better. Received so many compliments on this dress. Just beautiful.

Just what I was looking for to wear at grandson's wedding! I have trouble finding dresses that hide all the lumps and bumps of a 65+ lady without looking like a sack. Love the tea length, not too short. I will probably have the shoulders taken up because I am 5'3" and short waisted. There were no wrinkles when I took it out of the package. I would not want to wear it to a summer outdoor wedding because it is very warm, but this wedding will be in late winter/early spring so I think it will be fine.

This is described as a "midi" length dress, but it was above the knee on me and I'm past the age for minis! Also the lace jacket overlay is beautiful--wish I could have kept just that part. The actual dress, even though it's lined, felt very lingerie to me--thin and clingy to the body. Since I bought this for a wedding, it definitely didn't work. I would have felt like I was wearing a slip with a lace jacket--eek! Returned. BTW, if you'e 20-something, go for it!

I bought this dress for my son’s wedding. Of the dresses I tried on this was the perfect selection. It is fancy, detailed and light. I am short so the sleeves go to my wrist. The faux jacket is great, lessens the bulk of a separate jacket. It is size as stated and as a plus size, I feel it wears nice with a good silhouette. Can’t wait to wear it on the big day!

The dress is beautiful, my complaint is that they had to leave the lace jacket without sewing on the shoulders so that one could remove it and the other complaint is that the dress is very expensive for the polyester fabric, to be something formal they had to use a more costly fabric. I was not satisfied for that reason.

I loved the lace jacket but did not like the fact it was attached to dress. I kept it and disconnected it because it’s a whole jacket. Do not like the knit dress. Not good quality. Will make a new dress for it. Very pleased with jacket!

I loved this dress. It is extremely flattering and I felt comfortable in it all day and night. It moved well for dancing and sitting, and looked great (not rumpled) from start to finish.The vertical lace detail is stunning. It pulls the eye up instead of wide and is made of beautiful fabric with a hint of silver, but not over-the-top bling. I wore pearls with hematite detail and lighter silver shoes -- everything matched perfectly despite the different shades of silver. VERY flattering and I received compliments all night. Felt beautiful.I was surprised that some of the other reviews thought the jersey inner dress was NOT a great fabric. I found it well made, comfortable, had a good weight, stretched but wasn't clingy, and looked wonderful. The jacket is attached, and I purchased it knowing that from the description.I am 5' 4" and about 190 lbs, so "I'm a little teapot, short and stout". Definitely bottom-heavy. At 60 years, I wanted to look stylish and did not want to show my arms, stomach, hips or my gluteus maximus. This was a for hot summer wedding, and I needed something light and breathable. The dress was perfect, and I can tell it will transition to fall/winter well.If you are shaped like me--this is the perfect dress. I had tried on many dresses and was in despair and getting desperate. Other dresses either looked dumpy or were too clingy....which I know had more to do with my body than the dress, but it was too late to go Keto-Aerobic. Just sayin.I am so happy I chose this one. I have already worn it to two other events, including another wedding in hot and humid conditions. I kept the jacket hooked at top and open to hem. The lace jacket hid all my body flaws (arms, stomach, butt) and came to my knees. I was able to wear a Shapellex body garment that came down my thighs a bit underneath to smooth me out and never it showed, even when I was sitting down. The dress was comfortable, and the jacket moves and flows in a very flattering way.I wore the 14P size, and returned the size 16. It was amazing the difference between the 14 and 16. The size 16 literally hung on me, including having noticeable bigger arms and shoulders but the 14 felt great.Thank you to the designer of this dress. You relieved my stress and I appreciate your attention to detail.

The lace was much prettier in person than it looked online. It was very lovely but for a much taller person than me. The sleeves came to my wrists and to shorten them the shoulders would need to be taken apart. The arm openings gaped down below the bottom of my bra so the shoulders would have to be shortened. Then the length of both the dress and jacket would need to be shortened. A lot of work and too much expense. If you are tall this might work. If you are short like me the R & M Richards brand seemed to fit better.

Love this. I didn't realize that the jacket is attached but it is still nice.
