My shower looks amazing

iNSTALLED A 36 INCH SHOWER BASE AND PURCHASED A 361/8 INCH DREAMLINE SHOWER DOOR ONLY TO FIND OUT THAT THAT THE CORRECT SIZE TO FIT WAS A 341/8 INCH SHOWER DOOR.AMAZON ISSUED A RETURN MAILING LABEL BUT I DISCOVERED THAT RETURNING THE DOOR COSTS WOULD BE MY RESPONSIBILITY. AFTER READING THE RETURN POLICY, I FOUND OUT THAT WAS CORRECT.UPS QUOTED A FREIGHT RETURN CHARGE THAT WAS MORE THAN TWICE WHAT I PAID FOR THE DOOR. AFTER CHECKING AROUND, THE BEST FREIGHT PRICE FOR THIS RETURN WAS $300. i CONTACTED THE SELLER WHO SYMPATHIZED AND EVEN THOUGH I EXPLAINED THAT I WAS PURCHASING THE CORRECT SIZE DOOR FROM HIS COMPANY, HE COULD DO NOTHING TO HELP OR OFFSET THIS SITUATION. AGAIN, THE RETURN POLICY WAS CLEAR.THE CORRECT DOOR IS NOW INSTALLED AND WE ARE VERY SATISFIED WITH IT. I WOULD RECOMMEND IT BUT MAKE SURE THAT YOU KNOW THE REPLACEMENT DIMENSIONS AND READ THE RETURN POLICY BEFORE PURCHASING.

The shower looks great. I installed it myself with no experience. It’s really heavy. After Home Depot broke my glass shower order a couple times, I decided to try my luck with Amazon (and save a few bucks at the same time). The glass came delivered to my door and in good shape. I was afraid this shower would be really hard to install because my walls aren’t especially level plumb or square. However, the adjustability built into the wall jambs and the door hinges made it easy. I’m not saying you can throw it on the wall without a care in the world, but it made up for my amateur tile job. Reviews on competing products complain about the door magnet being weak so I was afraid of that too, but this thing closes solid. Note when buying the Dreamline base that it should be 2” larger than the shower enclosure.

This is a really well made unit. The tiler how was doing my bathroom asked me where I got it and was really surprised how much it cost. It is reasonably easy to install and the ability to adjust a little bit for out of plumb walls is handy. Few things to note. Use bathroom grade clear silicone (not white acrylic), otherwise every few years you will be cutting the sealant out as it stains and goes moldy. You can also run a bead of silicone along the base where the side panels will sit (can mark with painters tape. This will help make a good seal in case your base isnt exactly level. Some users on other websites had commented on how the water will come out of the shower if you open the door to turn the water on. Im not sure thats an issue, we have the head pointed way from the door before we get in. Doors open and close nicely too. Very happy and excellent quality.

Very nice glass, well packaged and looks great. Fits the 38" by 38" neo angle base. Only complaint I have is lining up the door is not easy, and we were unable to achieve perfect alignment all the way up with a magnetic strip close on the glass. I'd prefer they use a different approach for the door close. Everything else about it was great -- easy mounting on the sides with a good design. We used clear caulk on both sides of the base of the glass and of course the sides.

Just what I needed for a corner shower. I am very happy with my purchase. Make sure you order a base that is 2inches larder than the enclosure. ( 36 inch base with 34 inch enclosure).

The cost was reasonable, the directions were clear. The glass is tempered and 7/16"" thick. For liability, or better judgement, Dreamline strongly suggest professional installers. I am not a professional installer, but l can see why they would recommend it. If my shower base for the glass to sit on was not perfectly level, it would have been a nightmare. I got lucky, it went well, and having 20 years of being a carpenter did help. Be wise; it is a nice product
