Every year we are plagued with ants. We always have ant powder everywhere, it’s such a pain. The ants die, we get rid of the powder, the ants come back.We noticed some ants crawling around, not many but that is how it always starts, then they get more and more. A relative suggested these so we thought we would give them a go.We put one where the ants were running around and after 2 days we never saw another ant. We have used these in 2 other places since the first ones and on both occasions the ants vanished in 1-2 days. Brilliant things. I am going to make sure we always have these on hand ready for our next “visitors”.One thing to remember is not to squash any ants when you see them,even though it’s horrible to have them running around your home, as they take the bait back to the nest to kill the others in the nest and the Queen ant.

There are many species of ant, maybe these traps won’t work for all – but for the species that invaded our conservatory – they are “ant-mageddon”!We had a relatively small infestation, (one or two didn’t bother me), that was gradually growing in size. We bought an ant-trap from a discount supermarket chain and it did nothing. So we turned to Amazon and bought this product.I put down a trap, close to where I believed the ants were coming in, (I was wrong as it turned out). The ants seemed indifferent to the new arrival, so I left it overnight.The next morning, I was shocked by what greeted me. Not a lot of dead ants – the exact opposite! There was a “river” of tiny ants, heading for - and crowding around - the trap. I was sorely tempted to break out the vacuum cleaner there and then but had read the instructions and reviews, so reluctantly let the ants get on with it.The next morning, the tile floor of the conservatory was littered with dead ants. I could not see a single survivor. It was truly eerie. I vacuumed up the dead ants but left the trap down for now. Mercilessly effective and enough to give Buddhists nightmares – thoroughly recommended.

I chose these based on the positive reviews on Amazon. I have never had ants in my garden before but wanted them gone before they decided to try the house too. I put one station in my front garden and one in the side garden, both areas where I'd notice the ants. Within 24 hours there were fewer and today, 48 hours later, I saw a single one early on but now the plants seem free of any at all. Fingers crossed it stays that way. Getting 4 is excellent value as it means I have replacements ready for next year. I am told that ants are becoming a more frequent problem in the UK, so having something that works so quickly is important. Easy to use, but do ensure you wash your hands afterwards, in case of any drops of liquid escaping onto your skin.

Every year a new queen or three sets up house in my home. I have tried all kinds of anti-ant stuff and this is the only one that works for my particular ants. I can clear the lot out within a couple of weeks or so, and the last few ants wander around looking dazed or just stand there waiting for instructions that never come. The Queen is Dead. Once a year I lay down 3 bait stations and wait. The main nest seems to be next door and large as it is it wishes to spread. So far I am winning on an annual basis.

Around the beginning of April I begun to notice a few ants here or there in random places around my home. I am in a bungalow so finding a few in every room wasn't a huge surprise around this time of year for me. Usually once I put the ant powder outside that tends to work.....Not this year though! As the days went buy I was getting clusters of up to 50ish ants in the middle of my rooms, and over a 2 week period I was waking to hundreds and possibly thousands scattering about. The powder, bleach, vinegar etc was doing nothing this time. So on advice of my dear mum I purchased these traps, and to be honest I didnt expect much.....but WOW, in less the 24 hours zero ants anywhere. I used 4 traps. 1 in the corner of the living room where the 1st cluster of ants were at their highest, 1 outside the front door under a brick and the same at the back door in the garden and the 4th under the kitchen cupboards. I was getting the most in my bedroom where I don't usually get them, I was convinced the colony was under my carpet, no trap in there but again....nothing. haven't seen any outside or in....absolutely amazing! I highly recommend. Brilliant product. Will be sticking to these from now on.I had to use pliars though to break of the plastic tabs, I struggled to get them off by hand, they were really tough for me. Apart from that they are easy to use and easy to place. I was worried about my dogs and toddler at 1st, but when they arrived I realised the holes for the trap are so small, you couldn't stick fingers in there. I still made sure they are well hidden though. No one has noticed them. I'm really pleased with the result and will recommend to anyone who is having ant problems in future. Works well indoors and out.

These worked wonders. Last year my laurel bushes were attacked by ants and they made an awful mess. This year I was determined to get rid of them and bought these bate stations. I didn’t know where the nest was so I just put them on the rims of the laurel pots mid afternoon. Later I the evening I looked at the stations and they were covered with frantic ants. In the morning I again looked at the stations and there were no ants to be seen. I looked all round the garden and they had all gone.I must say I was very surprised by the speed these ants were eliminated. Would highly recommend.
