Definitely works. Cleans pores. You definitely have to massage it in and let sit for it to work though. Face feels clean and smooth after. I use once a week.

This product is the best oil cleanser I’ve ever used. It cleans the skin so well without drying it out. I have sebaceous filaments and this is the most effective treatment, leaves my skin with a dewy, fresh glow. Feels so clean and as if my skin is breathing. Will never be without this product I’ve ordered it for my teenagers to replace the other cleanser we liked because this one takes the cake.

This is the best cleansing oil from DHC for people who have oily or combination skin. It's not as oily as their olive cleansing oil. It does exactly as described. It removes makeup and dirt. It really has reduced the size of my pores. I like the scent which smells so natural. My face has never been cleaner. I little goes a long way. I use about a pea size amount and rub it all over my face. Then I add a little warm water to massage it through, and rinse it off with a warm wash cloth. It leaves my face soft & clean. No oily residue. I'll continue to order this product, but not from this seller. The seller is in Japan, and it took a long time to get it. Also, the product is smaller than it's US counterpart (100 ml). I've since ordered this directly from the company (which was much quicker), and received the true product size (150 ml).

I have been using this for about two weeks now. I have oily/combination skin that is also dehydrated, and this product seems to do exactly what I needed. It is a rich oil cleanser. The consistency is more like oil than gel, unlike some other oil cleansers in the market. Glides easily on dry skin with a slight sense of heat. The scent is subtle and natural. Does not lather at all but I don’t feel the need to use other face washes after this product. The oil washes off easily with lukewarm water. Effective makeup cleanser. No unpleasant residue. No eye irritation. No breakouts. Will buy again.

I have used this as a pre-cleanser for years, and am never without it. I used to use it only when I wore makeup, as a remover, but now I use it every time I wash my face. It helps remove oil and sunscreen, and makes my cleanser work better without drying out my face. I like it better than the original DHC cleansing oil, as it rinses without leaving residue on my oily skin. I am rather fickle with products, but have never found anthing that trumps this cleanser.

Not as good for getting the gunk out of your pores as other oil cleansers I have tried, but removes make-up decently. I don’t love it, but my mom does, so some people might like it. I have visible pores with sebaceous filaments and I prefer other brands.

This product is good for blemishes. But does not seem to reduce my pore size. Also it is very difficult to wash off. I will purchase again though. It's pretty decent overall.

I never feel obligated to write a review of a product if I don’t like it, but this one needed to be done to help y’all out there. If you have dry, sensitive, and acne-prone skin DO NOT GET THIS. It doesn’t even have the consistency of an oil, to which I feel like it barely cleaned my pores. I got irritated bumps around my nose area, not to mention that there is fragrance in this product. It’s full of fragrance oils that will just irritate your skin more even after using a cleanser. This is a hard pass, I would advise not getting it.
