The battery’s life is barely 18 hours. Considering the low power consumed by a lesser-featured flip phone, it should last at least one whole day.

I have an old, old, first generation Samsung flip phone that I use only for an easy to use alarm clock capable of holding multiple alarms. I bought three of these batteries about two years ago and over time each of the three acted the same --- simply worn out. I would charge for at least eight hours (sometimes 24 hours or more) until a full charge was displayed. Within six hours of use (just keeping time, NO phone calls), the battery level would go from 3 bars to just 1 bar. Recharge overnight and the same thing would happen over just a few hours of taking it off the charger. I discovered the years ago with this phone (circa 1998), a good battery will provide 4 to 5 full days of performance before recharging is necessary. This time I opened my new batteries, unpacked one and inserted to phone. Only had one bar of charge. After charging overnight the power level dropped to 1 bar in about 5 hours. Basically, this is just a continuation of the situation I was trying to improve. Bottom line --- I threw away 3 old batteries and replaced them with new batteries that apparently have the same power capability as the old. I cannot recommend to anyone a purchase of this product.

I bought a small Samsung phone in France that I only use when I travel. I buy a new SIM card and load the minutes with lycamobile. I can buy more time at any tabac or grocery store. It works great to call home to USA occasionally and to check on reservations and meet-ups with friends. The original battery died and I was so happy to find this new OEM battery to get it going again for a very reasonable price.It came very quickly and works great.Than you.

Better than the 1000mAh replacement. At least the battery will last for a long time and proves this battery is new. However, it comes with a very small and cheap plastic bag which looks like non-good replacement. Anyway, this is a good battery, and good replacement for old phones.

It's a battery. It works to power up an old flip phone that has old pictures on it.

I had to return the first battery, because it would not hold charge for more than a day even on idle. It looked new, but perhaps it had been sitting in the warehouse for too long. The seller (Lago Group) immediately sent a replacement that arrived in two days and has been working well. So, at the end I am happy with my purchase and with how the seller handled it.

I bought this new two times from Amazon. Both came from resellers. Both came in a little plastic bag not sealed. First one dead. Second one worked but didn't have the charge holding of a new battery. Find another place to buy this. Not Amazon.
