Superb
I recently bought a Tenor Saxophone, having been playing alto for about 7 months. The neck strap that came with tenor was okay, but I found my neck ached after about 1/2 an hour.I saw this recommended on a website, and it's considerably cheaper than an equivalent product sold by the big London Sax shop.I've had mine about a week now and love it. I no longer get neck ache, indeed the Sax feels almost weightless, it's that effective. When mine arrived I was a little concerned it might be too small. I'm 6' 1" and of average weight. But for me it's a perfect fit. I believe mine said "medium" on the box, but there is a larger size for taller people. It also works with my alto as well. Unfortunately I threw the box away before I wrote this review, so that is my recollection. Although I'm pretty sure. The straps that fit over your shoulders can be adjusted and are very strong. I've had no issues with comfort since I've had the product and I'm able to practise for a lot longer now.Highly recommended.

Finally, a non-neck sax harness I can wear with boobs!
I'm a tenor sax player with spinal issues. Neck straps are absolutely out for me. No problem, right? There are loads of sax harnesses available. Plot twist: I'm a female in possession of very big boobs. Have you ever tried searching for 'women's sax harness' online? It's not a search you want in your browser history! Even when I find harnesses for actual saxophones, I have the choice of spending a fortune, or wearing something that cuts right across my breasts, is seriously uncomfortable, too small at maximum size, and with such poor balance that I'm constantly curling forward while playing. Finally tried the jazz lab sax holder, and wow, what a difference. I can play standing straight, for over an hour without getting tired. Properly bent, the shoulder hooks are comfortable (although if they're loose, it can be unstable if you sit or bend down). It falls tight to the sternum down the midline, so no longer pushes the sax out at an angle. It also fits snuggly inside the bell of the sax. And bonus, I no longer look like I got rigged out at a store with black-out windows.

Might Work For You
I am replacing an old Neotech Soft Sax Strap which is mostly used for playing tenor. I was attracted to this following a positive review of an earlier version of the Sax Holder by Jay Metcalfe of Bettersax. Ordinary sax straps place all the instrument weight on the back of the neck whereas this distributes the instrument weight mostly across the shoulders and less so the upper abdomen. The shoulder parts are intended to be slightly bent to fit your body shape and the lower abdomen pad support slides up and down to best suit where you want it, although the pad will not rotate as on the earlier version. I found that the shoulder parts are fairly rigid and were quite difficult to bend and some people might struggle to do this, although when bent into place wouldn't move out of shape. Anyway it did take me a long time to get it set up. As far as comfort is concerned it is a completely different experience to a strap and with my tenor it certainly took the weight off my neck but just seemed to transfer all that to my shoulders, and also dug in a bit at the back. And it might take a while to get used to it, in that it seemed quite restrictive, especially when taking in a big breath of air. Otherwise the clip works well and the hook adjustment cord stays in place, and it appears well made. Finally I might have kept it but after I had set it up something didn't seem quite right with it and on close inspection I found that one of the shoulder parts would not securely lock into place in the holder and was fairly loose when in position, so whether I had received a previous Amazon return or it was always faulty out of the factory or damaged in transit I have no idea. The box was also ripped on receipt. Anyway I have returned it and decided to look elsewhere, although for some it might ideal.

A transformative way to hold your saxophone
I was surprised how much difference this product made to my playing. It holds the saxophone in the ideal position and takes all the weight off my neck. It feels well put together and certainly isn't cheap in construction and represents great value for money compared to some of the neck straps I have previously purchased. I am convinced it has transformed my playing as well. Couldn't be more pleased with it.

Excellent product
I couldn’t be more pleased with this product. I might have just been lucky but mine fitted me straight out of the box no adjustments needed. Very comfortable, very well made. Mine came with the rotating lockable chest support which was a bonus being as it was not advertised as such. Highly recommended.

Excellent for Alto
I found out about this through a Taming The Saxophone review, which was updated to the 2019 version, and frankly I am not disappointed.Years ago I considered buying one, but the price seemed steep.Having finally tried it, I find that it is worth the extra expense. My alto feels light like never before. This updated version has removable arms, which makes it easier to store the harness, and supposedly a better adjustment system (but I never tried the original product, so I cannot compare). The only drawback I can see to it is that it probably allows to get away with a less than perfect holding tecnique. I do not see this as a major problem, personally, the less I have to struggle with weight and balance while tryingt o improve, the better. But I suspect that if I were to use it for a few years, I might find it very hard to go back to a neck strap, should I displace it or anyway be without. But well, it is a brilliant product I think, at least for the alto.
