This backpack is super light. It is not waterproof by any means, water "resistant" maybe but that's not why I was buying it. I thought I loved the backpack when it came, it was just what I was looking for in size and weight, it's upon use that it had flaws for me. The main compartment has a single zipper and that turns out to be a fatal flaw with this bag. When fully zipped shut the zipper is difficult to get at. The front lower pocket is an awesome size, but with a single zipper, you have to make double sure that it's all the way zipped because the zipper goes to the bottom of the pocket. Any gap in the zipper will allow your stuff to fall out.I really wanted to love this pack, but I will still be searching for a better one.

NOT WATERPROOF. Pay attention to the title of "water resistant", not the pretty picture that says "waterproof". Wore this bag for a 10 mile run in to work. Cool morning, low humidity, so I was sweating a minimal amount. When I arrived at work and went to put on my work clothes from the pack, I discovered that not only were they damp from the sweat that seeped through the bag, but the red dye in the pack fabric had stained my clothes a wonderful pink. The most frustrating thing was I ALMOST put my clothes in a plastic bag before I left, but reassured myself with the fact there was no rain forecast, AND it was a "waterproof" bag (I could see the picture of the water rolling off the bag in my mind). Once again I should have trusted my intuition and not the little stupid-goblin on my shoulder chanting "WA-TER-PROOF WA-TER-PROOF WA-TER-PROOF".

Purchased this to make half day hiking trips. I did like the size and all the compartments, but the material was awful. Not a soft, pliable nylon, but a stiff material which was unforgiving. Ultra lightweight yes. Waterproof yes, but the material was not what we wanted. We returned this for a full refund. The vendor was wonderful and more than accommodating.

Perfect as a Traveling Backpack and/or Hiking Backpack. The backpack folds into a small bag and can be carried easily anywhere and/or put in the car glove compartment. Also, the backpack comes with two outside water bottle holders, which is an awesome feature not found on many other backpacks. If you are looking for a simple-to-use and convenient (and water resistant) bag, you will like this product.

I really like the pack. There are two things that would make this 5 stars for me. The first would be to make the main compartment so it has 2 zipper pulls, that way a person could reach in from the top instead having to open the entire side to get something in and out of pack. The second thing that could be improved would be to lengthen the padded part of the straps. For my frame, and I'm not that tall or long, the padding ends so that the webbed part of the straps end up under my arms and after awhile it rubs. Otherwise, I like the roominess and versitility for such a compact pack.

I really like the compact size and the fact that I could fold it up and pack it in my suitcase. I got it for our month trip and it was very convenient and a perfect size. The only problem was that the stitching tore on the shoulder straps and I didn't carry a heavy load in it.

I used this for one day on the river (put it in the bottom of my kayak) and the products inside were ruined.

Within a few minutes of receiving the backpack, the front pocket zipper did not work. It was broken. Had to return it.
