Got it to cover my eyes like Geordi LaForge from Star Trek: The Next Generation. And for that it looks great, haha! Just put a long rubber band around the back of your head and you look like you're the chief engineer of the starship Enterprise-D. Just wondering what to do with the extra five that came with it.

Cute, but split into two every time I tried to use it or it fell out of my hair after the smallest bit of movement. I have long semi-thick hair and the clips didn't work at all and fell out very quickly. Definitely doesn't work and would not recommend it at all.

My hair is super thick. Pulled it up with the clip, and the opposite end popped off. Okay - just pop it back on right? Still wouldn't handle my thick hair. Even when I combed it thoroughly so it would grab. Just doesn't have the sturdiness to stay together to pull up my hair. I could do it with a portion of my hair though and it holds just fine.

These are great for thick hair! I love to wear them to bed at night to keep my wavy hair at bay.

Well the white ones haven't changed since the 80's....they still come apart before you can clamp them together. The black and the tortoise shell are strong enough and would work a lot better if they still made Aqua Net the same as they did in the 80's... Alas it was killing the ozone layer... My hair is too fine to make them work now. But they were a lovely flashback 😁

The media could not be loaded. It’s super cheap plastic, doesn’t stay in the hair well. I wanted a classic banana clip with the brown tones so I opted for this brand. These clips bend, break, snap, and don’t hold hair well. I regret buying them and wish I went for a better quality item.*Tip: if you did buy these and want them to work better, unsnap either the top or bottom and then gather your hair in a ponytail. Secure your hair with a normal ponytail tie at first. Then, slide this banana clip over the hair in ponytail holder. Secure as close to your head as possible. Remove the hair band and the clip will hold the hair moderately well for a couple hours. Falls out multiple times a day though :(
