You can work around this by using two cable but it defeats the purpose :p- The air vent mount did not work on my mercedes circular vent.I picked this up as I was looking for a way to mount my mobile phone while offering the wireless charging. This saves me from faffing about with the cable. The motorised auto clamping action is so cool! The touch sensor location is quite sensitive and personally I would place the sensor higher as it's quite easy to engage/disengage.Having said that, if you mobile phone accepts wireless charging. This is a superb car mount in that it can charge compatible phones wirelessly and look stylish while doing so.One feature I love is the automatic closing and opening of the mount when the engine is turned on. The sensor on the side of the mount will release the phone when it needs to be taken out. The silicon pads on either side of the mount tighten the grip around the phone so there is no risk of it falling out whilst driving.This can be used in 2 ways, either in the vents or using the suction cup. There are two attachments for this as shown in the pictures I have uploaded.The vent attachment has a clip at the end which allows it to stay in the vent securely.The suction cup attachment can be placed on the windscreen, dashboard etc.It comes with the USB Type-C charging cable and is a decent length but doesn't look like it will last too long. Personally, I have replaced mine with a QC3.0 cable and it makes it easier to charge devices.Very chuffed with this mount, looks great and is very stable. I haven't had any issues with this since using it and it is a solid, quality car mount!

Hi never really saw the need for a phone holder/charger before - this having got this, it is great! It is easy to set up with options to either clip onto the fans or the dash board. I wasnt expecting it to give me messages upon starting the car like "drive safely" and "take your belongings with you" - it was so cool! I wouldve included a picture of my phone within the holder but - for obvious reasons it wasnt possible!!I havent been on a long enough journey as yet to test how long it would take to fully charge a battery on the phone, but was definitely charging when driving.The aromatherapy thing is basically a smell 'bud' which slots inside the back of the holder when driving, its quite potent, and good timing as my vanilla tree had run out.The only thing I would say is the lead from the holder to my car cigarette lighter might need taping so it doesnt interfere with the gear stick, it may differ if your car is larger.I love this and expect to use it more in the future!

A great gadget. I’m really pleased with this wireless charger. It is really strong and well made and what I like best is that it can attach to the air vent on my dash. The clasp opens and closes when you turn the car on/off and it adjusts to the size of your phone. I tried it with two different phone sizes and it was perfect with both. Unfortunately, currently the charger part does not work with my phone as I don’t have a new enough model to do the wireless charging, but I’m going to keep it because I tested it with a friend’s phone and it worked fine and I’m due a new phone in a few months and I think it’s a good strong useful gadget to have in my car. In the meantime, it holds my phone in the perfect place for me to use google maps! Just make sure that you check what model of phone you have and that it can do wireless charging before you buy. Super fast delivery with prime too.

This may at first seem a bit pricey but the phone holder is fully automated, has a built in wireless charger and a compartment at the back of the phone holder to put an aromatherapy stick. Therefore, considering its got three parts to the unit, it is actually quite good value for money.As can be seen in the photos, the contents of the package are the phone holder with two fitments (suction and vent), a 1m Type-C cable, two lemon aromatherapy sticks and an instruction manual.I used the window suction mount as I felt both the phone holder and my phone weight would be to heavy to fit on the vent without breaking it. The 1m cable was just long enough to fit into the power/USB outlet on my car and reach to the drivers A pillar. Once powered on the unit lights up at the bottom where the clear plastic is and the brackets open out to put your phone in. Once the phone is in the holder, the holder has a speaker that announces it is fast charging and the brackets close in on the phone to hold it securely in place and the LED colour changes to red. The unit has managed to hold my phone over a bumpy road surface and has yet to have fallen off. To release the phone there is a touch button on either side. This can also be used to close the brackets. (Note, the unit needs to be powered on to use the opening and closing functions). A handy tip is to make sure the holder is angled slightly upwards as otherwise your phone may fall out when you open the brackets.The wireless charging works fine but as expected the power of it is restricted by the power output your car USB outlet has or the power adaptor you use.The aromatherapy sticks fits into a little vented compartment on the back of the holder and the scent works fine in the car and is not too strong.Overall a nice bit of kit that will probably impress any passengers you have in the car.
