Product Description NRBQ follows up Keep This Love Goin', their critically-acclaimed 2011 CD, with a powerful and propulsive new live recording. The dozen songs, recorded last spring, showcase everything we love about NRBQ - energy, musicianship, playfulness, swing, and their brilliant mix of rock, jazz, pop, and who-knows-what. There are originals spanning NRBQ's 40-plus-year career, Q-takes on Thelonious Monk and Piano Red and, as always, unexpected arrangements of tunes we think we may have heard before but aren't sure where. The title song, composed by Sun Ra, has been in NRBQ's repertoire since the late 60s, but has never been released on an NRBQ album until now.Present is former NRBQ drummer Tom Ardolino, who passed away early this year. He was on hand for this show, as he often was in recent years, and is showcased on four tracks, side-by-side with Conrad Choucroun, sounding ''like a choir of drummers'' according to WFMU's Bob Brainen who was in the audience that night. Also joining the band is saxophonist Klem Klimek.NRBQ is: Terry Adams (keyboards), Scott Ligon (guitar), Pete Donnelly (bass), and Conrad Choucroun (drums). Review One of the best, most satisfying shows to match any NRBQ show, hell, to match any show by any band that I have ever seen! --Bob Brainen, WFMU

Revived, Revitalized, Refreshed: Still the Q!
The other reviews for this new live album have nailed it: the band DOES sound better than ever. With the addition of the three talented new members and whatever Terry Adams has been drinking, it's working, and clicking on all cylinders. As another reviewer noted, the band sounds very similar in spirit to the way they sounded 20 or 30 years ago. And that's a good thing. As usual, the live show consists of Adams originals (including some older NRBQ numbers, one written with original guitarist Steve Ferguson) and a tasty mix of obscure cover tunes (Sun Ra, Thelonious Monk). What a joy it is to hear Terry Adams gleefully pounding away on the piano and singing for all he's worth. Adams is the guy that sets the tone, and on this live recording it sounds like he and the band are having a truly great time. It's all very infectious. I think that any longtime fan of NRBQ will enjoy this CD immensely. Long live the Q!

Not quite a new classic
Some very good new songs on the CD but most are live and not as good as studio pieces. New members sound good and it bodes well for a revival of this great band built around the genius Terry Adams. I look forward to hearing new, true studio album.

NRBQ, a band for the ages.
Should have known anything with Terry Adams would have been top knotch. Really loved this. The Q lives on. Scott Lignon is fantastic. As is everyone. Sorry I missed them when they were in town. Won't make that mistake again.

NRBQ Is Back!
It was great news when Terry Adams restarted NRBQ and put out a great studio album. Now this live album shows that the new NRBQ is up to the challenge of replacing the old NRBQ. A real fun album.

Best NRBQ album for ages.
Terry Adams is a genius! After NRBQ imploded a couple of years ago and drummer Tom Ardolino sadly passed away Terry has managed to not only find players who sound like NRBQ of old but it now sounds fresh as well!Great songs, great playing and the material is as eclectic as anything as usual but always rockin.

Good live NRBQ
A rare thing that NRBQ have managed twice: a live album that is almost consistently likeable ( God Bless Us All is the other). I one star I didn't give it is because of the inclusion of the NAFF track " ...talking..."

SEHR GUT
