Order vs. Chaos... but who's chasing who?
John Whitman gives us another fascinating adventure that is also moonlights as a complex character study on both sides of the fence. And like his previous ventures into the universe of 24, it's a wild and satisfying ride.On one side, we have the genius anarchist who seeks the destruction of the existing social order in the U.S. and everything around it.On the other, we have an uncontrollable CTU agent who will stop at nothing to put him down. Even if it means sacrificing everything and going bottom level into the dark plan itself. From the start, Jack Bauer is imprisoned by his superiors for his reckless attitude. However, once Jack catches wind of a plot from his cellmate that not only threatens him personally, but everyone around him, he springs into action and escapes from custody. But, in classic 24 tradition, nothing is as it seems. Jack is cut off from CTU, wanted by all local law enforcement, his wife struggles to accept the reality that Jack lives in, his most trusted allies are under threat, and he is having his movements tracked by a mole in CTU who wants him dead. And this is only the beginning. The pages fly by as John Whitman's complex plot springs into motion. The only problem is that the climax of the story didn't burn as deeply as the fuse that led up to it. But that's just a petty gripe in an otherwise very impressive piece of work.

24 Declassified Chaos Theory Review
The color commentary was less than desirable. Good story and plot. Very disappointed in this author.

Better book, but a little off
The story line was one of the better 24 Declassified stories, but had too many unrealistic doings by some of the main characters, especially Christopher Henderson's background. Needs to be collaborated more with the other authors of the series to keep everything more in tune.

Chaos Theory = AWESOME!
Maybe the best one of the declassified series. Most are great, but just stay away from the ones written by David Jacobs..........BORING!

24 Declassified: Chaos Theory
I do enjoy reading these books. They are a little more detailed and graphic than the series was allowed to be.
