EZ-FLO Evaporative Cooler Float Valve Assembly, 1/4 Inch OD Compression Inlet, Brass Body and Rod, 20289

It appears to be well made, all brass (excep the float, of course) without the cheap plastic components sometimes found on others. I had to drill a different hole in the swamp cooler next to the original (as I knew I would) since the original was for a non-standard 3/4" pipe fitting, but no problem there (the mounting holes have to be above the max water level anyway) and a piece of aluminum tape over the old hole will keep the critters out. It's easy to adjust, and it works perfectly. Now the greenhouse will again stay cool in the summer heat :>)

What more can be said?

If you have a swamp cooler sooner or later you are going to replacing the float valve.....this one is very heavy duty compared to probably the one you are going to replace....spend a few extra bucks now...it pays off later.

Worked well made well

Built solid and durable. Only issue is that the adjustment screw for the float leaver slips loose. I added a small tooth lock washer behind the adjustable screw and it works great now. Excellent flow and it shuts off completely when cooler reservoir is full and adjusted properly.
