FROGG TOGGSMetal Boot and Wader Hanger

No hesitation needed, these work
Was really hesitant on these from the reviews saying it only fit kids or women's waders. I got them for a pair of 11w boots 6mm waders that are heavy as hell. These worked awesome. Can't see how it would fit bigger. I'd guess up to a 13-14 size boot. Solid metal construction. Got 2 more on the way now. Love that holes are North to south as well so will get both screws in a stud if hanging on drywall.

exceptional value
Love it. Comes with two wood screws to attach to your wall in your garage. It is well built and it is made of metal should outlast several pairs of waders. My friend bought the plastic one and it broke within one season of use. I would highly recommend this to every one.

Strong, but Heavy
I bought another boot hanger from Allen based on the brand's reputation, and the fact that it is made in the USA. I also bought this Frogg Toggs all metal hanger as a comparison.I was looking for a hanger for very tall all LEATHER boots -- think equestrian boots -- not waders. I have a degree in Mechanical Engineering with a background in material science. When I held each as if I was the wall, and then had someone else insert and remove the boots, a couple of things became obvious. First, the boots that I am attempting to hang are extremely heavy causing the hanger to want to pull ( torque ) away from the wall ( That is, me as the wall ). This made me concerned that the Allen plastic model may break due to fatigue over time. It may be fine for lighter boots. The Frogg Toggs model could handle the load over time, but it is NOT the item pictured. The item pictured appears to be a die casting -- one can see the mold seam running across it horizontally -- but the item I received is a welded fabrication. Also, the arms on the Allen taper towards the front causing a pinching action, which some may find favorable. However, it does make the boot harder to insert and remove. The Frogg Toggs item -- NOT the one pictured -- has parallel arms without causing a pinching action. Ultimately, I am returning both and continuing my search. I may come back and re-purchase the Frogg Toggs later if I cannot find something superior.

Sturdy and a great value
Mounted it in a closet for my neoprene insulated Frogg Toggs chest waders and they help keep them dry inside and out.

Great to hang up hip waders!
Great for storing hip waders at our lake place. Helps keep things organized, product feels very sturdy, and performs perfectly!

Easy to Install
The installation was easy. I attached the holder to the studs with nails instead of the provided screws. The boots from my wanders fit securely.

Get The Metal Version
There are lots of plastic versions for less, but I can see them holding up. This version is sturdy and I doubt I will ever have to replace it. It could have been made a little wider, as I can just barely get my boots and wader to fit. But they do fit.Small complaints. It came chipped already. Plus they provide finish screws but do not counter sink the holes so the screws don't sit flush. Pan heads would have been better. But, for the price, it does its job, so I'm satisfied.

Product is well made and sturdy.
The Boot hanger is made of steel, my old one was plastic and cracked from the weight of the chest wader.
