Techole HDMI Bi-directional Switch The HDMI switcher has a button on top, this button allows you easily switch 2 HDMI Sources (e.g. Computer, Xbox One, PS3) to 1 HDMI Display (e.g. projector or HDTV), or connect 2 displays to 1 HDMI source. This means that this switcher is bi-directional – the HDMI signal can go can go in either direction. Easy to Use Tiny cubical box would easily fit in your palm and literally doesn’t take any space. Plug and play, no external power and driver required for this HDMI switch hub, the connection is made only via HDMI cables, it just takes you a couple of minutes to get it to work. Use Tips: -1. If Your HDMI Source Device (like XBox, PS4) supports 4K, please use a HDMI cable 2.0 to connect 4K HDMI Source Device & HDMI switch & display, since HDMI cable 1.4 (or below HDMI 1.4) isn't enough to support the resolution of 4K (4096*2160). -2. If your HDMI cable is not HDMI cable 2.0, you could adjust the resolution on your 4K HDMI Source device to 1080P (1920*1080) to match the specification of your HDMI cable, Or use the proper HDMI cable to connect. -3. HDMI switch box couldn't get two display devices to work simultaneously when you connect 1 HDMI-Host to 2 HDMI TV or monitor. Enjoy the Most Luxurious Video And Audio HDMI splitter box supports all kinds of video formats, like 3D, 1080p, 2K x 4K resolution, and also HD audio. DOESN'T DO DUAL SCREENS SIMULTANEOUSLY!!!
It's buried in the description that it doesn't allow 2 screens at the same time... Hopefully this review will better highlight the fact so people don't waste their money like I did... Instead of loading your title with keywords, maybe put some relevant info there

For Those of You Looking to Make a Pseudo-KVM
So you've got two computers. And they both feed the same monitor. Or maybe you have two monitors for each computer. And you're looking to attach one of these bi-directional HDMI switches to each monitor. Might not be a bad option to replace a KVM, right? I mean, sure it means hitting the button under each monitor but that's easier than going to "input" settings on each monitor and switching between the two sources for each monitor. And it's certainly easier than coughing up ~$150 for a multi-monitor HDMI KVM.So the question becomes, two computers connected to the same monitor through this switch, what happens to the inactive video feed? Does it switch back and forth seamlessly and keep all your stuff where it was? Long story short: NO, it does not. And that works for devices like game consoles, streaming sticks, etc. that don't make a handshake and just keep pumping video out whether they're connected to a monitor or not.Computers make a handshake with the monitor they connect to, which this switch does not replicate. So when you toggle off from one computer to the other, the one you switched from acts like the monitor became unplugged. Your display settings will completely disconnect from that monitor even though it's still physically connected in the inactive port on the switch.Luckily, Windows 10 remembers monitor IDs, so when you switch back it will reconnect the monitor and remember the placement (if it was supposed to be on the left or right or top or bottom, orientation, etc.) but all your stuff (open applications) will have been moved off of it when the computer had lost access to it.Nobody had gone into quite that amount of granular detail about keeping connections "live" from two computers so I figured for $8 it was cheap enough to do the experiment myself. Now you know. It won't replace a KVM's ability to keep connections active; it's basically a button that replaces the need for you to unplug one source and plug the other in, and for most people that's awesome, but a KVM this is not.

Auto-switches perfectly, no need for power supply
You just plug in the HDMI cables and when you turn on the machine attached to that HDMI cable the switch will sense it and activate that plug. SUPER SIMPLE.I have the following devices connected to the inputs of the HDMI switch box:input 1- Nintendo Wii U- 4k- no probleminput 2- Amazon Fire stick- 1080p- need to charge fire stickoutput- an android tv-4k - no problemLike: 1. automatically when a new device is turned on, 2. Compact and nice quality. 3.Work perfectly without any problem. 4.Great price.Dislike: 1.some devices need to get some charged while using. 2. Not including HDMI cords, have to purchase another one. Conclusion: would recommend this one. :)

Not 4K compatible!
I purchased this to connect an Xbox One S to 2 TVs, one 1080p and the other 4K. It works fine with the 1080p TV. It does not work with the 4K...green bars, intermittent black screen, red specks all over when the picture does come on. I have tried 4 different brands of HDMI cables, but none work with the splitter. To be fair, 1 cable didn't work at all, but the other 3 worked fine when used directly from the Xbox to the 4K TV. It was a great price and was easy to use, but didn't work as stated or needed. Returned.

Does not automatically switch like other reviewers have said
I got this switch as i only need to swap between two inputs. a Nintendo switch and a Steam link. and i bought this switch because other reviewers said it would switch automatically to whatever device powers on. and this did not happen at all. Its a great switch and really cheap. I just wish it had that automatic part so i don't have to reach behind the entertainment stand and press a button every time i want to swap inputs. besides that this switch works well but only goes to 4k 30hz not 60hz so keep that in mind if you want to use this with an xbox one or ps4

There is no need to buy more expensive HDMI switcher
I went through 3 other HDMI switch before finally deciding to buy this one. All the other 3 switches I used previously were more expensive, all them claimed to support 4K. And you can guess those claims fell flat and they did not work. Most of them would have no images to the TV when selecting 4K and also there was horrendous screen tearing eve though v-sync was enabled in the games I was playing on my PC. I am a very technical person when it comes to this stuff, I believed this switch has it all, price, works, designed. I am happy to report this is the very easy to use and work perfectly good. It can fully transmit an image over a 15ft cable with no signal loss. I connected it to XBOX with fully 4k and it works like a charm. No other devices can caused much more problem than Xbox. This material is also as thick as any of the other HDMI switch I have and that just goes to show the great build quality. Note: This switch is much more smaller than showing in the picture, but it's not a downside in anyway even better for me because I can put behind the TV, no mess on my desktop anymore. :)

Exactly what I need!
Actually more than expected. This box simple fix for a TV without enough options! small and neat and easy to use without signal interference! There is a button to push on the top of the device that also switches between the inputs. We try it with cable, ROKU, and DVD inputs, work exactly good without problem. I bought this product due to an issue with my TV mount blocking access to two HDMI ports. Due to this, I was unable to plug my devices switch up at the same time and had to plug in whichever I wanted to play at that time, unplugging the other. That annoying me so much. The most amazing part is that the switcher recognizes when you turn a new device on and automatically switches to the port almost every time, and you can just hit the button on the top of the box if it doesn't do it automatically. All of that, this thing was essential. It's been such an incredible purchase, especially for the price. (*^_^*) the most important surplus recommend this one for anyone who need. :)

Random flickerings
This is good. Perfect for switching between my work laptop and home computer. However, it has some random flickers at least a few times an hour. It can be annoying when it does that while you are doing any work that requires streaming information on the monitor (as you will miss out on few seconds when it does flicker). Kind of annoying. I may look for a better product in the future.

Garbage. I waste of time and money.
I will start by saying that it was my fault, but not HDMI cable came with it. I had the two incoming wires with my devices and I would have thought that an HDMI cable to connect would have been included but of course it was not. So I order an additional HDMI cable from Amazon and wait two days for it to arrive before I could test the switch. When the HDMI cable arrived, I could wait to test it. Very easy to use and to install. I had everything set up and I fired up device one which by shear lucky was connected to the first HDMI port. It worked perfectly for the 4K device running 60 FPS. Just beautiful. Then I fire up the second device after closing the first. I press the button on the switcher and boom there it was, device number two up and running. Again beautiful, running 4K at 60 FPS. Perfect. I switch off the device and turn off the TV. Three hours later, I just could help myself and I wanted test it again, just to make sure with the image. And that is when disaster happened, I when to switch back to image one and the switcher won’t work. I unplugged device one and put it in input two and the image was there. I pressed the button again and now no image of anything but white noise. The piece of junk no longer worked. Now I have to pack it all up and return it to UPS and look for another switcher. Bad luck, maybe but I won’t buy it again.
