COOLEST LITTLE LEDs
Just to get started, I must say that this desk lamp is the greatest!!!! You need not bother with the competition, as they don't even come close. I was originally going to make my purchase from a battery supplier online, and located in Fremont, Ca. However I won't mention their name. It is bad enough that after receiving the worst customer service, they never called me back as they said they would. Not a problem, 'Divine LEDs is just a keypunch away. The other downside to the competition is that there desklamp which would have been comparable to this one is that their price was $52.93, Incredible!! outrageous!!!So let us get on with the Divine LED Desk Lamp. This is a very sharp looking lamp; Black, Shiny, Heavy Duty, but not overpowering!! What I mean by that is that you can use this lamp anywhere. It will fit into any decor and look awesome. It has a heavy base that does not take up a lot of space which was very important to me as I had a tight spot to put it into. The controls, as I call them because they are not buttons are a very convenient touch sensor located on the top of the base. Four sensors; The first on the left is to control the style and amount of LEDs that you want illuminated. The second sensor is your power, On/Off, very simple. The third increases your light output, and the fourth decreases it. That is all there is to it very simple.The other feature that I like so much is being able to choose the style of light, the color of the LEDs and the amount that you feel is necessary. Keeping in mind that these LEDs are very cool, and that does not mean that they look great, but by touch they stay very cool. In the week that I have had this lamp, I have probably had it on for approximately seven hours at one time, and never did it get hot, not the bulbs, not the housing, and you can even hold your hand directly under the bulbs and feel no heat at all. Now here is what I feel is one of the greatest features. You can choose the color of bulbs that you desire. NO!! that doesn't mean that you can turn your room into a discotheque!! but what it does mean is that you have your choice between a natural bright white lite, or a very soothing, cool, and relaxing 'Amber Glow.' Thats what I call it, as the led lamps on this particular mode are a light amber in color. There are four amber LEDs on at one time. If you look at the 3000k picture that is the amber glow. As I mentioned the amber glow is very soothing, very relaxing, easy on the eyes, but supplies you with enough lite for you to read, write a letter or do just about anything that you have a need for. If you are doing some detail work, and have a need for brighter lite, not a problem, simply switch over to the white and you have two choices; One of which utilizes ten white LEDs, and the second choice utilizes ten white and the four amber at the same time. The choices are yours, keeping in mind that you also have the option to power up or down the intensity of the light.All in all, I feel that I have made the best choice that I could have possibly made. Fashionable, powerful, relaxing, easy on your eyes, and did I mention that it is very easy to plug in. Once again you have a choice; A very lengthy cord which I can not measure because it is now tucked away behind my computer desk, but I would venture to say that it is approximately five feet or so with a USB plug at the end. You are also provided with the direct current adapter so that you can plug the USB plug into the adapter then you can plug your adapter into your surge protector as I did, or directly into you wall outlet. And it is two prong, not three.Well I guess that just about covers it. Once ordered, I did receive it in two days, however that may be because I am a 'Prime Member' which has always been a great feature on Amazon!!

Excellent Lighting for Every Situation!
I searched for LED Desk lamps on Amazon for hours before deciding to get this one and I wholeheartedly think I made the right choice. If being able to truly customize the illumination of your room with the 3 lighting modes (yellow light, white light, and "day light", which was the two other modes put together) and 5 brightness settings isn't what you're looking for in a desk lamp, then good luck deciding between yellow and white because with this desk lamp, YOU CAN HAVE IT ALL! I've found uses for all the lighting modes:-I use the softer yellow light on the lowest setting to navigate the room when I wake up because I hate the strain on my eyes that I get from switching on the room light.-I use the white light on various settings for its crisp, bright illumination as I do my homework and to light up my keyboard. (Did I mention how handy the 180 degree adjustability is? Because it makes a great product fantastic).-I use the day light mode on the brightest level when I pluck my eyebrows and do makeup application. This combined lighting mode of warm and cool is really complementary to one's skin and my eyebrows have never been so perfect without needing to get them done professionally. :)I must also add that the base is so sturdy and grippy that I can bring the lamp to bed, perch it on my 4" wide headrest, and adjust its neck to light up the book I read in bed. I love that it is bright without being harsh on the eyes due to a smooth, super slightly opaque surface covering the light source. It also keeps the light cool to the touch. The only petty inconvenience is that I would need to move the power adapter from the outlet at my desk to the outlet at my bed.In conclusion, this is the lamp to get if you like customizing your lighting to different needs. This is also a completely unbiased review from a very satisfied customer. The value of this product is so great and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a quality desk lamp.

I am very happy that I did. Quality seems excellant. Love all the different possible light brightness combinations, so that makes it very versatile for my needs. (Yours too !)Speaking of being versatile, If I have a power outage in my area I can continue to keep using this fabulous light and not be stuck in the dark because all I have to do is plug its usb cord (included) into one of my li-on power batterys and will continue to work. This feature makes it possible to use in places where you might not have electricity. As long as you have a spare li-on battery or two, you can probably have days of light. Seems ideal for emergency lights-out situations. I plan to order 1 or 2 more of this lamp.UPDATE 2/14/17It's been a year and a month since I purchased my Divine LEDS lamp. I have used it every day since I received it. It's still working perfectly like when it was new. I'm very happy with this lamp.UPDATE: 2/04/18Well now, I have a total of 3 of this awesome desk light. Ever since I got them way back when I run 2 of them every evening for about 8 hours 7 days a week. I never had any trouble with them. ( I do need to dust them off occasionally ) The third light is still in it's box, unopened as a backup in case I ever need to replace one of my lights. But the way things are going I doubt I will ever need to unbox it.
