Cheap fixings that round and don't do the job supplied for. Literally to clamp pole in place won't tighten enough before rounding screw head

changed the nuts to nyloc lock nuts that was very important to me as i had a few fittings work loose with vibration. i stamped new accurate marks on the thickness scale using a punch. now i have a fantastic Mill for the price ! the scale was 1/4 of an inch off so did not need to make much alteration and i could have lived with it! over the moon with this bit of kit !

First, my kit was missing hardware for assembly, but they quickly sent out replacement parts, so A+ for their communication and fulfillment.Now to the actual product. I have had no issues with the operation. I've finally been able to process a bunch of maple I've had for forever I to planks. Can't wait to use them.The weight is manageable, not too heavy or light. Both the guide rails and push kit are very adjustable.I like it, but it does need careful attention during the assembly step. It is not the most intuitive or straightforward, so have patience while putting it together. Look at the pictures carefully. Expect to have to take it apart at times because the instructions weren't clear.

This is one really simple jig to assemble!Not too heavy but rigid enough for the work it is intended to do.Great value for money!

It started with a bit of a glitch as I received this portable chainsaw mill without the post clamps and could therefore not assemble. I contacted Carmyra via Amazon and they responded very quickly. They shipped the post clamps immediately from China but it took three weeks to get them, being stuck at canadian customs for a while. Assembly was not that obvious as the photos provided are very small (would be nice to have a pdf file we could enlarge) but I made it and have since cut quite a few planks 14'' wide by 12' long for my treehouse with my Husqvarna Rancher 460 and a 24'' blade. It works like wonder and is very robust construction. By the way, I've put lock washers at every connection to ensure they don't loosen up with such vibration. Great value for money, I highly recommend this Carmyra product.
