I used this lamp for one hour. Next time I tried to turn it on, it would only flicker briefly. My husband tried to fix the apparent loose connection, and then the lamp will not turn off or toggle.UPDATE: The seller contacted me and sent me a replacement lamp, which passed the test of heavy usage for a day and continued functioning the next. It is a cute lamp and provides pleasant, natural lighting which I use for video therapy. I am very relieved that the seller was so attentive because I could not find another lamp that was the right size and lighting for this purpose. The only reason it gets 4 instead of 5 stars is that the variation in lighting is not even - the first setting is almost no light at all and the second setting is almost as bright as the third setting. Because the third setting does the job, it is not a big deal. It just would be nicer if the second setting was a little dimmer and the first setting was a little brighter.

Bought this for my guy’s bedside table. He wanted something that didn’t look like “a girly hotel lamp” but I still wanted something stylish for our bedroom, and this is a great marriage of form and function. The pattern on the shade is clean and retro and the base is a nice dark stain. It has two USB ports at the front and a regular two prong US power plug at the back. Tapping gently on the base cycles the brightness from off to dim to two brighter settings. I didn’t realize how dark it was in the room before, with the second to last setting I was in the room thinking the sun hadn’t set quite yet when it was actually fully dark out. Would absolutely recommend especially for the reduced $29.99 price it was listed for.

I bought two of these, one for each side of our bed, and they are perfect for this use. I think the best feature is the tap-on, tap-off way of turning the lamp on, up, and off, but its being dimmable is a close second. Also love the two USB ports and the regular electric plug built into the base. The lamp was slightly smaller than it appeared to me online, but that's fine. Style would go with just about any design. Really, this is a great little lamp.

After an accident in which I fractured my right shoulder, I noticed that I was unable to turn on or off my original nightstand lamp. Because I didn't want someone else to have to constantly turn my light on or off, I began doing research to locate a lamp with a "touch" dimmer. At the time that I saw a picture of this lamp online, it seemed to have exactly what I needed, but I began questioning whether such a lamp could have a very reasonable price and also be sturdy and high-quality.What arrived at our house was exactly right and simple to put together: a fairly short lamp with an attractive, cylindrical shade and 3 graduated settings! This dimmer lamp enabled me to handle my own lighting needs--at a time when I was still dealing with enormous pain, and it has been a Godsend over these past 5 months! To this day, it still works perfectly, and I am so attached to it, that it has taken the place of that old lamp. This is possibly the best purchase I've ever made, and I would most highly recommend it to one and all!

I ordered two lamps for my bedroom. It took two returns to get a decent looking “pair” - it’s almost impossible for them to match as a set. As other reviews mentioned (but I ignored lol) the shade doesn’t sit right... but I liked the look of the lamp so I kept them. Two months later with very light use - the lamp shade on both are coming unglued. If you don’t mind tweaking or putting extra time & money in to fixing the issues, it’s a nice lamp - the usb connections are great and the touch lamp base works fine. Just wish the quality was better for the price. Too pricey for the quality of product. Unfortunately my return window has closed so I will have to find some time to fix them up. Project time.

We love our lamps!! Perfect finishing touch to our bedroom remodel!! They came easy to put together and with a lightbulb! Took me 5 minutes to get them both put together and up in our room! I like the different brightness, if I need to get up in the middle of the night the first setting doesn’t wake my husband. We love them! Highly recommend!

Overall, it looks very nice and seems solid-- until you set it on a flat surface. This lamp has a very obviously tilted post that just brings disappointment. It always looks as though someone bumped into it. I tried to finagle the shade to straighten the appearance, but no luck. It's the post that is warped. Especially disappointing is that there are so many similar lamps on Amazon that probably don't come with this problem.

The pattern on the shade is subtle. This is on my nightstand and I really like the touch base so I don’t have to grope around for a light switch in the dark. First touch is the dimmest setting of light; second touch is brighter; and third touch is the brightest. The shade rests directly in the bulb with a heat-resistant ring. There is no harp. Nice features: 2 charging pets for cell phones, Kindle, etc. and an outlet. Would be good for guest bedroom.
