The characters, both primary and secondary, are really very complimentary and you'll fall in love with them. Jet Crow is delicious...part of what makes him so delicious? Other then his dirty talking tattooed bad boy vibe? His utter heart of gold. He's a total family man and that was insanely hot for me! Hannah is the broken one in this story. A nice flip from what is a common thread in romance. But her heart is still soooo huge. And her relationship with Alfie melted me! I am personally on pins and needles for the releases of Tulsa and River's books, (trust me, you will be too). Back to Jet Crow's sexy talking...and other sexy talents. You will definitely need a cold shower after this book. I loved how hawt it was, but it was tampered by the sweet as well. The angst in this book is high, but Hannah and Jet's heartaches weren't a result of their relationship. Also, as a reader, I have to vary the books that I am reading so I don't get too many of any one genre, but Rockstar Romance never gets tiring to me. But this rockstar romance isn't just that...its a one night stand that leads to so much more and a twisted future that the lovers never saw coming. Let's face it, after S.L. Scott release her The Resistance series I knew this would be just as consuming, and it was. You'll be hooked!"What you failed to see is that I crave your sharp edges and chipped corners. I'll be the glue for you, but I like how you are."Whether you're a new reader or a long standing fan of S.L. Scott, you can guarantee that you'll be reading a well written book that is paced just right. I have yet to feel that one of her books is either slow or rushed. And no two books of hers are ever the same. She may write a few standalones back to back, or a series, like The Crow Brother books, or the Resistance series. But then again, she may release something completely unexpected in between as well. Keeping it fresh is a huge deal to me! I read a lot and if every book was the same, I would probably give up the hobby I love the most. With Spark, we get duel POV and its honestly my favorite way to read a romance. I found the cover for this book spot on! Once you star reading you'll agree completely. Also, after reading the epilogue, I couldn't stop grinning! Like ear to ear, giddy and excited - you know, you're basic crazy happy vibes shooting right out of you?!? That was totally me! I tried to think of the last angsty read that left me on that kind of note, and couldn't name one right off the bat.My reasons for loving this book can go on, but if you've read my review or anyone else, you're already sold on the book so Happy Reading!!!

A riveting romance that captivated me from beginning to end. Not only do Jet and Hannah have Alfie's best interest in mind, they find something that neither of them expected. This is an entertaining, sweet and heartfelt journey of two people who are certainly meant for one another trying their best to take care of a beautiful little boy. I enjoyed this story.

Any musical group Johnny Outlaw deems worthy of his new label is definitely one that The Resistance’s fans will support, and after being introduced to the the Crow brothers in S.L. Scott’s newest release, Spark, it’s clear that the band is ready for the limelight as long as the trios’ dreams of success align with what the oldest brother, Jet, needs to do in order to get to know and take responsibility for a little boy who comes to mean everything to him.I’m a huge fan of S.L. Scott’s bad boy rockers, and even though Jet Crow and his brothers are still trying to ‘make it’ in the music scene, they definitely have the musical talent, swagger, and determination to climb the rock and roll charts and become a household name.But Spark is about so much more than becoming a successful musician; in fact, music plays a secondary role throughout much of Jet and Hannah’s story. At its core, Spark focuses on a single father doing right by a son he never knew he had until the little boy was 6 years old and the mess that’s created by this revelation and the people who deliberately interfere in order to keep father/son apart for dubious reasons.Scott introduces readers to a multitude of new characters in Spark - ones who will hopefully have their own story told, but the one character who absolutely stole the show is Alfie - Jet’s son, Hannah’s cousin, and the most amazing and caring little boy. Alfie is the reason that Hannah enters Jet’s life…he’s the reason that Jet finds every day a little brighter and now that Jet has someone else to protect, he steps up like he did for his brothers all those years ago after his mom passed away.Jet’s love interest, Hannah Nichols, definitely has her own issues to sort through when it comes to her place in Jet’s life as well as the amount of time she gets to spend with Alfie. Hannah’s backstory is not a happy one, and while she made me a bit frustrated, at times, due to her hot and cold demeanor, readers can’t help but feel for her because she’s in an incredibly difficult position when it comes to what’s best for the little boy who has become her world and the man who is nothing like the man her cousin and her aunt have made him out to be.Readers can’t help but hope Hannah is able to sift through all of the lies and realize that the connection she shares with Jet is something that could make her past pain hurt a little bit less and give her a future full of love and happiness, two things she hasn’t felt much of based on her past choices and her family members’ neglect.Jet and Hannah’s story is a sweet, heartfelt, and steamy read that will have readers rooting for the Crow brothers to be successful in the music industry and for Jet, Hannah, and Alfie to become a family in every sense of the word. Fans of The Resistance and Johnny Outlaw will love the advice and the chance they give to the Crow trio, making them one big happy rock and roll family.4 Poison Apples

These two characters has so much chemistry they didn't understand at first. I loved their story and the way. This story show that timing above all is everything.An easy 5 stars from me.

I have read MANY novels from this genre. I appreciate that there is a certain element of predictability e.g. boy meets girl, misunderstanding and/or heartbreak ensues, their love overcomes all etc... However, this was too predictable. The female lead had potential but came across poorly and the ending seemed rushed with epilogues that didn't really add anything.

Just loved the story. Jet totally stole my heart. Oh and I absolutely adored little Alfie. Love the connection with them all. Hannah and Jet were just perfect. Really liked that some of my favourite characters were in the book. Johnny Outlaw and the rest of The Resistance Band. Really enjoyed reading this. Can’t wait for more

This book is just perfection from start to finish. Yes there are ups and downs but you need those to get to the happy ending. Jet and his brothers are cocky and fit. The perfect kind of book boyfriend. Loved Hannah she was the perfect fit for Jet. There relationship was hot! Watch out for Alfie he will steal your heart from the get go. Watching his relationship grow with his dad just turned me into a puddle of goo.If you haven't read this yet...... Do it.I'm off to read Tulsa....... Shhhhhh just don't tell Jet 😉
