Got this for use with my Concept 2 rower equipped with PM5 monitor. A snap to pair, comes up as a couple of options - I suggest using the ANT+ one as it seems quicker.One point to note - I'm 6'1 and 210lbs, 44-45 inch chest size and the strap fits me....but at very close to the end of adjustment. I suspect the strap will give a little over time, but if you are bigger than me, be aware it might be too small.Also the mechanism for fastening the strap seems fairly flimsy, I could potentially see it breaking over time. However it's not happened yet, so at this price this gadget is doing the job for less than half the price of competing polar and Garmin ones - so worth a 5 star rating for now, hopefully it will hold up over time!Edit March 2 2020: Well sadly it seems my first review was a bit premature. After some more use, I am finding this monitor is wildly innacurate - sometimes reading the rate as up to 30bpms too high. Perhaps this is just a faulty device....but back it goes and I'm not inclined to try a replacement. Instead I've bought a wahoo tickr for just 10 dollars more which is proving to be accurate.

I have read the negative reviews and I did not have any of those problems: The data is accurate (I compared it against my blood pressure kit) and it connected to my bike computer immediately. The strap is comfortable and the contact patch maintained the connection without needing to use any electrolyte paste such as Buh-Bump. After using for a week, it has become a must-have for the bike, much as speed or cadence data.

Was prepared for some disappointment for cheap Chinese junk as this costs signifficantly cheaper than various other alternatives. I've bought a few of these over the years and usually suffered from poor ability to pair or various other incompatibilities. This time, NO. Worked perfect. Small light comes on to confirm it's 'doing something'. Strap is comfortable, but the strap link is a bit small/flimsy so perhaps that may or may not be a (future) potential concern - but for now, it's good. Worked both with my watch and bluetooth Android phone. Good job! Will buy again.

Never got it connect returned it for refund

It's light, pairs easy with both BT and Ant+. Unfortunately it consistently shows about 10% higher heart rate than measured with a stop watch.

I’m a big guy looking to lose weight and this type heart rate monitor was recommended for the fitness all I use.DDP Yoga is the app that I use that can connect to a heart rate monitor and I can use it to try to “stay in the zone”. It took a bit of time, but i figured out how to get it started and connect to my phone quickly and easily via Bluetooth. The app recognizes the hrm and seems to work just fine. Nothing to compare it to, but I like it.My biggest concern was whether it would fit around my chest, since like I said…I’m a big guy. I wear XXL shirts and wear 46/48 size jackets…but I’ve seen other HRMs that people say the elastic strap isn’t long enough for their big frame. Well…no worries here…it fits comfortably and works with the app I need it to…so it’s all good.
